Hanna, Ship's Navigator Lock n' Steal

Commander / EDH

zorsmobile

So I've looked around at quite a few Hanna decks but none seem to go this kind of build. So I figured I should share, since it's easily the nastiest deck I've created and pretty hard to deal with in tournaments. Its weakness is ultra fast combo, since it doesn't run counters. But pretty much every other deck I've played against has a tough time against it. Enjoy!

The main goal is primarily mana ramp. The faster and better I ramp the more frustrating the deck is for several reasons. 1. Hanna sucks up tons of mana, and to be able to play something (have it maybe get countered), put it back in your hand and play it again takes a lot of mana. and 2. All the mana deprivation like Opalescence/Enchanted Evening (which is almost impossible to get out of), Winter Orb, Armageddon, etc. leaves me with a huge advantage if I have a ton of mana rocks. 3. Hanna will become a huge target insanely quickly so being able to play her again and again will be a must

How to win:Lockouts with aforementioned mana deprivation while you continue to play normally due to mana rocks

Recurrable Decree of Silence (hopefully with Copy Enchantment for even easier lockout)

Infinite turns: Mindslaver Lock or Second Chance + Trespassing Souleater to get my life down to 5

Opalescence +Parallax Wave (and even better, +Enchanted Evening): With the 3 of those, you can instant speed exile every permanent of every opponent due to some nasty manipulation of the stack

Updates Add

Considering adding in some draw X spells, but not sure what to take out. Recently added Memnarch and it's been game-ending with the amount of mana acceleration present in the deck
