Maybeboard

Finally did something play testing with the physical deck! Hooray! This deck is STRONK! Did admirably well in two casual games against damage-oriented decks, but really held is own vs a three-man pod against Reaper King (artifacts) and Muldrotha (Reanimator). I didn't win (due to an instant-win infinite combo by the Muldrotha player), but holy cow I underestimated this deck's resilience.

I think the deck lacks more interaction with other specific deck archetypes (i.e. - Graveyard and artifact decks). It wasn't weak by any means, and still came back strong after a massive board wipe via Reaper King and Rite of Replication, but I feel I could have prevented things spiraling out of control a few times with more gy hate and mass removal. Lack of recursion was only an issue for my engine pieces. Opponent's caught on REAL FAST how strong Yawgmoth is with a few snakes and Hapatra out. Maybe a single extra piece of reanimation would help.

TL;DR notes:

I activated Yawgmoth a lot. Probably cost me close to 20 life altogether. two combat steps from an opponent would have killed me easily. Some sort of life gain like Essence Warden could be beneficial.

Overall, the biggest thing the deck is lacking is another way to put -1/-1 counters on target creature at instant speed as an activated ability to support Yawgmoth and act a backup when (not if) he's removed. Grim Poppet, Serrated Arrows, or Trigon of Corruption.

After some consideration, the original card:Neccrotic Ooze package an earlier iteration of the deck had may be more viable than I thought. This issue lies in what can be swapped to compensate for the additions necessary. Also, there would need to be cards only usable with the Ooze that don't syngergize with the deck (i.e. Buried Alive or Entomb). I don't want this to be a graveyard-centric deck, but something that would allow me to generate more -1/-1 counters in crucial.

Necrotic Ooze Package

In a way, Necro-Ooze acts as recursion for all these creatures (specifically Yawgmoth who WILL get removed). That's certainly a plus. I honestly didn't realize how many activated abilities existed in the deck. Grim Poppet is bad on it's own, but when combined with Devoted Druid, it can clean house. The counters can also be put on my own creatures which is certainly a plus.
