normally it would be true, however in the situation of Tajic because it specifically targets himself, he would have to be the one to receive the Resonator-triggered copied ability.

Gotcha, the wording on that threw me off. Still battalion triggers with Strionic Resonator is pretty awesome.

oh yeah most definitely. in your deck's case, you're going to want to especially copy Firemane Avenger 's battalion ability :D

Thanks for the tips!

another fun creature to combo with Resonator, if you wanted to run him, is Boros Battleshaper

-4 Boros Elite , +4Wojek Halberdiers is the only change I would make.

August 27, 2013 11:14 p.m.

actually Tstainbrook I'd run Ash Zealot in place of Boros Elite

Very good idea... another thing to double with the resonator.

Aurelia's Fury ? I mean use it on the opponen't upkeep for 1/2 to destroy future Supreme Verdict s and then just swing (buys you a turn for non-hasty creatures or gets you another attacking phase...and since counter/control decks counter spells, alot of this could be using the abilities...but be careful...high mana costs here...

This deck is really slow for aggro. Also stoic resonator is a total gimmick. Nice casual deck though (although, you don't make friends with reckoners).

What about Blind Obedience and Imposing Sovereign to offset other aggro decks?

I like this deck, Strionic Resonator is a great idea, but IMO there's a few excess cards which could be swapped out. I'd personally go with more low cast creatures to both speed up the deck and trigger Battalion more easily. Knights made an excellent suggestion with [Imposing Sovereign], I feel it's extremely underrated at the moment, it slows the enemy down quite a bit. Anyway, this is what I'd change:

-2 Gideon, Champion of Justice -1 Boros Charm -2 Warleader's Helix -2 Path of Bravery +1 Strionic Resonator +2 Legion Loyalist +3 Imposing Sovereign +1 Firefist Striker

+1 and good luck!

Hey, just a quick nit-pick. You have 3 Imposing Sovereign mainboard and 2 sideboard.

I think no Boros deck is really a Boros deck without Assemble the Legion

switch fist blade out for a Viashino Firstblade ive been playing at tourtaments, qualifiers and state comps he is an all star

Ince_Velus says... #19

he is amazing...just pops out turn 2-3 and swings hard once then used as a blocker or to move around as needed...

personally I would toss in Silence main board..I mean to wait for them to tap all lands THEN silence them shuts down SO many decks by bumping back all plans one turn giving you a play advantage...

Nice. I didn't even think about firstblade. I will give him a shot. I would mainboard Silence , but I am not sure what to move out.

I would put one Ash Zealot into teh sideboard and totally remove one Madcap Skills as it is nice but what happens when I block with two tanks and obliterate your tank?

realize when you are multi blocked you decide how much damage goes to what blocker...meaning I can take out your tank with only one loss if I do it right...

August 30, 2013 12:12 a.m.

hardc0re42 says... #22

That could work. I like the idea of having Silence MB.

August 30, 2013 12:26 a.m.

Ince_Velus says... #23

Silence ends games...you tap all your mana down for a mass spell or something past that and I cast silence before you "cast the spell" and you cannot let it leave your hand. I have the next turn to not worry about your counter spells, instants, and possibly even any creatures you may have summoned. It buys a turn and let us say (especially with this deck) you have just cleared the field the previous turn....gives you a second turn to get more buff cards, burn spells, or just hasty creatures...it literally creates a meta-game that VERY few decks have a response to...the best response tho is to counter it but it still costs them mana they didn't want to spend and can often ruin games on the opponent's side...

btw...I hate to ask for help, but I have two decks I would love people to review and have a hard time finding people to comment and help me (I try to help others but often people are too busy to look at those commenting's decks and help back)

90% Naya is my standard mid-range

Agressive Chicken Dancing! is my EDH talrand deck (and watch the gif because you will die of laughter)

No worries I love looking at different decks. I tend to stick to my favorite colors, but enjoy looking at others for ideas as well.
