Maybeboard

A Soul Sisters shell that functions alone but gets bonkers if it can keep Panharmonicon and/or Genesis Chamber on the field. If you want sixteen triggers every time anyone plays a creature, well, I guess you're my kind of asshole.

For the unfamiliar, Soul Warden and Soul's Attendant are classic staples for those of us who like our games to go long.

We're going deep on activations here so we're also going offensive with Blood Seeker and Suture Priest, particularly since Genesis Chamber gives our opponent tokens about as quickly as it does to us.

Attended Knight and Seller of Songbirds are the bricks from which we build a castle of value. They trigger all our key pieces, and then the tokens they make trigger some more. If you cast one of these with Panharmonicon, Genesis Chamber, and two Soul Sisters in play, you get:

  1. The creature itself
  2. Two Soldier or Spirit tokens
  3. Two Myr tokens
  4. Ten life

Bonkers.

Fortunately they're still solid even if our non-commons get hated out; all it takes is one Soul Sister and they're putting in good work.

We're going long, and we can't afford to gain a bunch of life and give out a bunch of tokens just to run out of steam. Thraben Inspector and Squadron Hawk don't have the immediate impact of the token makers but in the long run they keep the train chuggin'. This is also why we're running a full eight cycling lands.

Finally, Inspiring Captain lets us swing in big if Blood Seeker and Suture Priest just aren't getting the job done.

Massive lifegain neutralizes a lot of threats, but not all. Sometimes you just gotta Faceless Butcher an Eldrazi or Kor Sanctifiers some other chump's engine piece, but be careful you aren't forced to blow up your own Panharmonicon!

Whitemane Lion rescues key creatures against control and/or potentially lets you recast someone from the Militant Order... every turn if you have Panharmonicon out.

Honestly I wish I had more room for this kind of stuff. Stonehorn Dignitary, Mesmeric Fiend, and Liliana's Specter all look sweet with two triggers. Sanctum Gargoyle would be great insurance in the event we run into Naturalize, Mold Shambler, or Kor Sanctifiers instead of the ubiquitous Oblivion Ring. Unfortunately we're not really doing much if we don't hit critical mass on the key pieces, and without Panharmonicon up most of these just aren't as effective as going harder on the core.
