This is my new take on a Reaper King Scarecrow deck with a soul sisters twist.

The goal of this deck is to start by setting up life gain. Then set up an entry-trigger doubler. Then play Reaper King when you can defend him. Finally you will destroy enemy permanents in order to clear the way for your creatures to hit and win through damage.

Painter's Servant with Grindstone can one-turn someone. This can be a strong play against the person most likely to kill or counter your reaper king.

Here are your best options every turn...

Turn 1: Soul Warden or Essence Warden is great to get as soon as possible. If you get Mystical Tutor then get a Fierce Guardianship or Counterspell. If you get Enlightened Tutor or Vampiric Tutor then grab a Maskwood Nexus. if you get a Worldly Tutor then grab Painter's Servant, Scarcrone, or Roaming Throne. Otherwise a Sol Ring or Mana Crypt is never bad and Grindstone can draw out a destruction spell from your opponent.

Turn 2: Arcane Signet is great. Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and Suture Priest continue your lifegain strategy. And Bitterblossom is nice to start getting blockers for incoming creatures. If you get Maskwood Nexus, then these will have changeling and trigger Reaper King. Hold any cheap changeling or scarecrow to use once Reaper King is out.

Turn 3: Arcane Adaptation is nice, otherwise you can Fabricate for a Maskwood Nexus. Scuttlemutt is a mana-dork. Wild-Field Scarecrow helps fix your colors. And lastly you can play Taurean Mauler. Mauler is a strong card that gets bigger as your opponents play spells. I have noticed that my play group will always burn a kill spell to destroy it, which can help pave teh way for Reaper King Later.

Turn 4: There are a lot of good things to play on Turn 4. Maskwood Nexus or Arcane Adaptation is your number one priority. If not them, a Panharmonicon or Roaming Throne is best. Then Molten Echoes, Padeem, Consul of Innovation, Unwinding Clock, Vedalken Orrery, and Leyline of Anticipation help set up your later game. And Sheoldred, the Apocalypse might be the strongest card available.

Turn 5: Conspiracy is Maswood Nexus. Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Yarok, the Desecrated are Roaming Throne. Reflections of Littjara is better Molten Echoes.

Turn 6 and 7: This is usually when you should play Reaper King, but only do it if you have a counter spell in hand or you aast him with Cavern of Souls, or if your enemy is tapped out and you have a cheap scarecrow to play with Reaper King and getting his triggers.

Turn 8: This turn should be about playing a cheap scarecrow to get multiple triggers of Reaper King's destruction ability. If you dont have any creatures, maybe play One with the Machine or Traverse Eternity with Reaper King on board to draw 10 cards.

After casting Reaper King you can play Morophon, the Boundless or Chromatic Orrery to make it easier to cast him if he dies. Otherwise Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite buffs your small creatures to help end the game.

Deciding if there is a slot for Sonic Screwdriver or Heroic Intervention

AND THAT'S IT!! LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THING :D
