Generator servant unfortunately makes colorless mana so no vexing devil. I'm thinking a few tokens to feed your soul gorger like Dragon Fodder

Hmm, I dunno morphranos, I kind of need it to run as tight as possible and I'm not sure if I can afford a card like Dragon Fodder . Are you certain it will improve the deck's performance; or can you think of a more versatile or powerful card that performs a similar function?

Actually I just meant vexing devil can't be played with the generators mana since it's colorless. As far as dragon fodder I was just thinking the soul gorger would need more sacrifices, otherwise it just gets chump blocked and you sacrifice all your other creatures. I'm not really sure of better token generation in red, maybe in green.

Yeah, I knew vexing can't be hasted by generator servant; but thanks for pointing out the typo that made it look like I was saying that. Well, the ways I get around chump blocks are to use hammerhand or rancor. I did consider your idea some more about feeding the soulgorger with chumps in order to keep it around though; Empty the Warrens seems like it might do the job rather nicely with that storm ability.

Just so you're aware, Simian Spirit Guide can't be used to cast Myr Superion. Only mana abilities of creatures already on the field can be used, such as Elvish Mystic or Priest of Urabrask. From the official rulings: "Mana produced by abilities of creature cards not on the battlefield, such as Chancellor of the Tangle or Elvish Spirit Guide, can't be used to cast Myr Superion".

Other than that though, awesome deck! Really cool concept.

Can you link me to that ruling? I've been trying to see if there was an official ruling that said that, but my searches on the gatherer yielded nothing, so I figured it counted s creature-produced. kinda sucks to hear that since that trick was supposed to be one of coolest things in this deck (in my opinion) to pull off.
