Maybeboard

Building a slight new Life link deck revolving around Sanguine Bond, Gray Merchant and being straight up mean.

Bogbrew Witch, Bubbling Cauldron and Festering Newt are the main base I am playing around. I had this combo in my other deck and while at times it is hard to pull off, they combo well with other cards. The basic idea is that I hold aggro decks off with Tenacious Dead early, as well as Festering Newt. If they aren't aggro I usually get a few hits in before the plays start coming. Removals come from 4x Hero's Downfall and 3x Devour Flesh.

I then just work whatever combos I have / can get on the board. Some of the combos include:

I am play testing this deck to see what works well and what doesn't. I am considering taking out the Bogbrew Witch just because it's only good for one thing and it takes mana to get that. I thought I might be better off with other creatures that are actually useful in general.

My sideboard is a combination of cards I might want to swap in depending on the circumstances. For instance if I am playing another black deck I want to bring in Quag Sickness to get rid of Erebos, God of the Dead or any other naughty Indestructible god. I also have Devour Flesh for that too but it's riskier.

Open to thoughts!

I decided to take out the Bogbrew Witches. For 4 mana they are hard to get out and then I have to get another 2 just to get one piece. It's too situational and just hard to use properly. I am switching in Nightveil Specter for flying support, damage and an awesome use of devotion for Gary Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
