I designed this deck for an event at my local play group where we are playing a Guilds of Ravnica commander league where each of us build a deck around one of the Guilds on Ravnica, must includes being the Commander being a legendary creature from one of the Ravnican sets who was in the guild/ run it, the guildgate of the guild, and at least 1 guildmage from the guild (I have since taken out).

I Chose Ulasht as i fancied building a token deck for a while, I love red, and Trostani was already chosen/ is already played regularly by 3 players in my local group. Also the Goblin Goliath may be coming up as illegal but is legal according to all the ban-lists concerning commander and is only considered banned here on tapped out.

One instant win combo i have found since i have started playing the deck has been sacking a sapling to Utopia Mycon , use the mana to remove a counter from Ulasht, the Hate Seed and make a sapling causing Ivy Lane Denizen to trigger, putting the counter back on Ulasht, the Hate Seed , all the while having one of Impact Tremors , Warstorm Surge , or Purphoros, God of the Forge
