I've made the following updates:
-2x Heartless Summoning, +2x Crypt Ghast
-2x Havengul Lich, +1x Griselbrand, +1x Rise of the Dark Realms
-3x Swamp, +3x Blood Crypt
-1x Far / Away, +1x Murder
I realize Rise of the Dark Realms is a classic "win more" card, but since this deck is optimized for group casual play, I really want to resolve that spell at least once. :) If I need to make this more competitive for dueling I'll definitely not run that card...

but i would remove the deathrite yes it works in the deck but not to full power and the snapcaster mage seems like he only does well towards the start of the game i would remove those and replace with more lichs or maybe a couple of Fog Bank to hold back aggressive decks till you can bring out the power cards in the deck

@Blood_berserker98: Hmm... I had not considered Fog Bank , that is a very good suggestion. Fog Bank is outstanding in a duel because it neutralizes their strongest threat or forces them to use a removal spell to overcome it (or a board wipe). In multiplayer it doesn't do quite as good of a job because it doesn't really act as a deterrent (like Vampire Nighthawk ).
I will swap out the Deathrite Shaman and Snapcaster Mage for two Fog Bank .
Anyone else have any thoughts on that substitution?
