This is a deck based on healing a little and doing a lot with it.
Soul Warden/Soul's Attendant give the healing abilities for whenever you put a creature or an opponent do.
Ajani's Pridemate is the easy big creature, growing with every heal you take.
Archangel of Thune gives a booming power for late game, buffing all creatures.
Grand Arbiter Augustin IV reduces costs and slow the oponent's deck. It is a creature that can be bounced.
Ephara, God of the Polis + Elspeth, Knight-Errant : gives reliable draw, while Elspeth's +1 gives constant heal and a creature that can be really dangerous with Archangel of thune. I won't forget to say that Ephara can turn into a pretty handy creature, without that much effort.
Venser, the Sojourner : Is utterly important to the deck. It gives a bounce that can buff creatures, makes your creatures unblockable, letting your Pridemate kill anyone and might get you some exiles.
Detention Sphere give removal for some nasty things.
Sunbond : Helps making something BIG.
Drogskol Reaver : really cool card. Plus gives you draws. Plus has flying. And has double strike. And has lifelink. Why would I not put it into the deck? Oh, have I mentioned that it costs only 5 mana with Grand Arbiter?
Privileged Position: Protects your creatures, enchantments and planeswalkers. Pretty handy, no?
Curse of the Swine: Exiles dangerous things while also giving you life and making you grow! What else do you need?

Kabira Crossroads/Sejiri Refuge/Tranquil Cove : gives just that tiny bit of heal that buffs your ajani's pridemate past the killing possibility. Or just that little extra heal you needed to not worry of taking a blow or 2. It has quite the downside of always entering tapped but can actually help out tons. Usually in third turn you will have the time to drop a terrain that enters tapped. This one is to fill that out
