It's hard to make a Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund deck that's terribly original. Play Dragons, smash face. However, the problem I tend to have with most Karrthus decks out there is simple: not enough dragon. There's a lot of potential utility to be had in the range of Dragons out there. For example, in this deck there are dragons for artifact removal ( Hoard-Smelter Dragon ), dragons for token production (Prossh, Skyraider of Kher), dragons for tutoring ( Imperial Hellkite ), dragons for life gain/drain (Kokusho, the Evening Star), heck, even dragons for board wipe (Balefire Dragon). What this means is I am able to get a lot of my utility functions in this deck while still optimizing the critical mass of dragons.

One function they do not have is ramp, so I've included a small ramp suite. There's also some goblins in there to flood the board early and get devoured later on.
