I would love to obtain a Domri Rade for this deck and switch my Garruk, Primal Hunter for Garruk, Caller of Beasts .

I am running Prophet of Kruphix as well do you think that Aluren would still be a good addition? I would like a Sylvan Library as well.

Several of the cards are money issues to be honest, they will be obtained slowly as I can get em or as I obtain them via trade.

Cloudstone Curio and any number of morph creatures lets Animar pump up quickly (and infinitely if you want). Dream Stalker , Shrieking Drake and a couple other cards that can put themselves back into your hand also help pump up quickly. Dream stalker is great with the Gyre Sage 's evolve. Scuttlemutt works as mana and combos with Animars protection ability and a Drumhunter gives you cards and mana.

Lurking Predators is another way to get creatures out free, as is Myojin of Life's Web .

You xould probably stand to lose some non-creature spells in favor of more creatures. Eternal Witness , Primordial Sage , Psychosis Crawler all come to mind.

@luther Yup, i got a Surrak Dragonclaw yesterday haven't updated the deck yet and not sure what to take out but you can be sure he will be placed in the deck. Vexing Shusher is an interesting idea and is probably worth infesting in. Thanks for the idea!

Take out non-creature stuff. Starting with small burn spells, the curse, and unexpected results, imo.

personally I like my animar as a combo deck so i second the Cloudstone Curio, and things like Glimpse of Nature, Shrieking Drake, Earthcraft, there are also some fun things to protect your deck, Nullstone Gargoyle is nice since you dont cast many non-creatures. Animar is best with bounce and draw so if you have a bounce engine you can make animar disgustingly huge really easily. Kozilek, Butcher of Truth is also awesome since if you have animar up high you can get infinite draw with a bounce, it also counters mill decks due to his other ability.

I'd recommend Mystic Snake over Mystic Genesis. It synergizes with your general a bit more and is in the same colors.

Thanks for the suggestions guys I added them all to the maybe board. I definitely plan on picking some of those up, I'll add them to the deck once I obtain them. I would especially like to obtain a Cloudstone Curio.

I feel a Chasm Skulker works well with both card draw and making large creatures.

Your strategy would also be aided by cards like Staff of Nin and Rhystic Study.
