This deck basically plays like a black combo deck (maybe think tendrils); you start by hating things away such as removal for your Crypt Ghast and then try to land a turn 4 Griselbrand.

The deck can play a fair game with Liliana and Desecration Demon, but most of the time you just draw 7 cards with about 10 mana and shred their hand, etc.

The creatures that actually fight can survive mutilates if you don't play any unnecessary land.

The Prisms and the Blood Crypts are 8 red sources for the 2 Rakdos's Returns, which can either be good tempo plays or kill conditions.

I'd say the worst card for this deck is Loxodon Smiter off of Liliana, but thankfully Smiter is mostly hanging out in the sideboard with Boros Reckoner taking the main 3 drop slot.
