It's a simple Modern Monoblack control deck.
Using either Mind Stone or Heartless Summoning to accelerate out a Nirkana Revenant for massive black mana. You can then quickly kill with a Sorin-Vengeance combo, a massive Exsanguinate or simple beatdown with a cheap Abyssal Persecutor, Rune-Scarred Demon and the above Revenant. If your opponent's stuffed on 0 life, You can kill your own Abyssal Persecutor with your own Murder, Tendrils of Corruption, or the singleton Disciple of Bolas. You can grab your important pieces (Heartless Summoning or Exsanguinate) by transmuting Shred Memory, or using Disciple of Bolas to shred through your own huge creatures, or a combination of popping your own Mind Stones and the Sign in Blood... or switch it up by using a Heartless Summoning and Rune-Scarred Demon.
The Sideboard allows you to either swap out the 14 creatures (and Heartless Summoning) for a classic spell-based MBC, or add Cavern of Souls (I'd suggest setting it to Demon) to bypass permission decks.
Changelog:
8/4/12-Dropping the Heartless summoning to a 3-of and adding a singleton Go for the Throat. Died a couple times against by being unable to get rid of my Abyssal Persecutor. GFTT can be searched up by the transmute of Shred Memory, and isn't a lost card if you draw it naturally. Nothing is worse than getting beaten by an opponent at -12 life. Curse you, Maynard Ravager!
