Most creatures generate mana when played while Heartless Summoning is out. With Grim Haruspex out they also draw cards.

Empty the Catacombs lets you go off again if you failed the first time, as well as probably win you the game if drawn while going off.

Myr Retriever can get back a Myr Moonvessel while going off or a Architect of Will while searching for combo pieces. Two Myr Retrievers can generate infinite storm count with Summoning out; you just have to get rid your Grim Haruspexes (as the draw is not optional) by playing a second Heartless Summoning.
