This is a variant of Heartless Summoning with a bit more control. A turn two Heartless Summoning can mean between one to three land fetches with Viridian Emissarys on turn three. Glissa, the Traitor and Perilous Myr act as a free two or lower board wipe.

Falkenrath Noble pokes at your opponent's life as Perilous Myr repeatedly hits the graveyard. However, it's main purpose in this deck mostly to complement Thopter Assembly's token-creating ability, which can deal five damage and gain five life per turn.

Massacre Wurm and Wurmcoil Engine are the heavy-hitters in this deck, and Phyrexian Metamorph helps foil any opponent's attempts to get rid of them. If Wurmcoil Engine and its tokens somehow manages to die, Glissa, the Traitor can bring Wurmcoil Engine back.

Doom Blade and Go for the Throat act as creature hate to ensure that the setup goes smoothly. Dismember and Naturalize are sideboarded in the event that it's up against artifact or black-heavy decks. Tribute to Hunger is also included as a fallback option.

Liliana of the Veil is primarily in this deck for additional edict, although her final seems adequate sometimes as well. Her discard ability can be used to toss away extra Heartless Summoning draws while thinning out an opponent's hand.
