I love Kaalia of the Vast so much so I bought and modded the Heavenly Inferno deck too. Here is a link to mine -- deck:heavenly-inferno-of-death.
If you want to put in an equipment tutor, I would say use Stonehewer Giant . He equips for free, and can tutor more than once. Pretty sweet. Thanks for the ideas from yours, and feel free to check out mine for any cards you like. +1 for Kaalia!

Also card:Steelshaper's Gift. Although subtype specific tutor has its limitations, perhaps Beseech the Queen , Demonic Collusion , or any other black tutors. It is just great that all these Heavenly Inferno variations are popping up.

Elspeth, Knight-Errant might not be to bad keep attention off of you can make chump blockers or she can pump your creatures, then if you go ultimate everything is indestructible. and you will never have to worry about a Wrath of God or Damnation .

I'll consider her if I end up in more multiplayer edh games (right now I only end up playing it in 1vs1 games and it's set up to deal with that now)

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight would be absolutely amazing. Her ability makes her a win condition on her own. If here and two other strong creatures swing at the same time then it might be game right there. Other than that it looks good. Quicksilver Amulet might not be necessary because of Kaalia though.

Yes I recognize Gisela's destructive power as well (she's on my to trade for list) as for Quicksilver Amulet it's a secondary Kaalia effect and it is often necessary as it possesses numerous advantages over her (not a creature, colorless mana cost, there are alot less destroy artifact effects in most edh decks than there are destroy creature effects, and I can sneak a bomb out at instant speed).

Pretty good looking deck you have here. The only thing I will comment on is that like you mention kaalia is a glass cannon so sometimes its good to have some back up plans. I would say add a little bit more recursion to the deck just in case the board gets swept. A card like card:Debtors' Knell is almost an auto-include in any deck with W/B. Plus with Yosei, the Morning Star in your list cards and other recursion like Reya Dawnbringer you can set up a sort of lock if you can get a sac outlet online.

I would go for a Yosei lock strategy and it is a very good strategy, but a good number of people in my play group utilize it and it's grown to a point of where they will hit the pieces of that combo whenever they can, also we're speaking of a combo of 2-3 permanents of cmc 6+ and Kaalia can't protect those pieces like other decks that use those colors, I've found just smashing face to work best.

If you will use card:Debtors' Knell and Reya Dawnbringer , you can use Sneak Attack to put you creatures in to the grave and attack with more big creatures at the same time

yes, yes I could. Please look at the above two comments.

I had Dolmen Gate for a bit in this deck, but it got replaced by Thundermaw Hellkite .

Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant is another way to save her skin during combat.

now that is a good card, not only preventing combat damage, but also preventing burn spells!, I wonder if I have one, also it seems rtr will also be adding in cards that demand a slot.

Do you think Rakdos the Defiler is really worth it?
October 27, 2012 7:57 a.m.
Yes! When you sneak him out with Kaalia you actually avoid the when he attacks trigger, making him a powerful sweeper to the opponent who's board is building up too quickly, also there have been times where equipping him with a pair of boots just ends the game as you are fine with saccing permanents as long as it finishes off that last opponent. Though I will admit I'll often not hard cast him, but if I have a well protected Kaalia out he's quite often the card I'll tutor for.

Yeah I have been meaning to update my edh decks for gatecrash as it did give the deck not only a new angel, demon, and dragon to play with, but both of the guild charms are highly playable for this deck. Though I am somewhat surprised at the box I got from coolstuff, it was pretty much only $10-25 rare/mythic rares and not really many "good for edh" rares that I had been wanting.

I wouldn't say getting almost triple the worth of cards than the money I put in a bad thing. Aside from aurelia I can get the remaining cards I could use for this deck for under $5.

yeah it's fun, though I probably need to up the gy hate count, I also think I need to update the list again, I could have sworn I added a Possibility Storm to the deck awhile ago...

I'm thinking of cutting some of the cheaper/not so great creatures that Kaalia can sneak in for a Stoneforge Mystic and some equipments that can protect Kaalia from spot removal (my opponents are constantly shuffling her into my library >.>).
