Those are some cracking suggestions, although I am trying to avoid single target or one shot mill effects. The two artifacts are definitely going in!

Bonehoard is a great add. Umbral Mantle & Sword of the Paruns also great.

I've purposely avoided infinite combos as it's supposed to be a casual deck. I've just realised that Eater of the Dead + Phenax, God of Deception is almost as bad so I'll have to avoid using it.

I really respect that, coming from a play group that only wins with combos. However, I would still recommend Bloodchief Ascension. It's a threat that needs to be answered and that's part of the game, answering threats.

That is a really nice card, I'll have to grab a copy. Thanks for the suggestion!

Forced Fruition is bad. More often than not you'll help your opponents with it more than hinder them. I would recommend replacing it with Leyline of the Void / Tormod's Crypt. Having graveyard exile effects is super important. I get that some of your stuff is fueled by graveyard size, but a lot of decks will have graveyard recursion and you need a way to deal with this. You already have Eater of the Dead but I think it would be worth putting another effect in the deck.

I've got Tormod's Crypt, Bojuka Bog and Agent of Erebos for graveyard removal. I've also put in Academy Ruins to recur Tormod's Crypt. I was hopeing that would be enough for casual play. I've not had chance to play this deck much yet, so Forced Fruition is a card I have never seen come out. If it does cause me problems I know what to replace it with. Thanks for the suggestions!

That's ok, sorry, I completely missed those cards. Also, is there any reason for no Sol Ring?

I did have one in the deck but took it out for the sake of variety. All my EDH decks were beginning to look a bit samey.

But isn't that how 100 cards singleton works, run as many functional reprints as possible? :P

Luckily my local metal is pretty laid back. I doubt this deck would do well in a competitive environment.

I purposely left out Mesmeric Orb as it's effect on me would be devastating.

As a fellow Phenax EDH player, I have one thing to say; because Phenax is in your command zone, your creatures gain his ability while he's in the zone!!!

@PhenaxsDisciple Commanders don't do anything while they are in the command zone unless they state that they work from the command zone. Abilities on commanders normally only work while they are on the battlefield.

Bro, have you considered Stitcher Geralf in this deck? Mills everyone and then makes a zombie out of what you have milled off from folk. Might be worth a shot, as the synergy is strong.

He's one I've considered, but I'm a little worried that the self mill will do more harm than good.

Hmm that's a fair consideration. Mind you if he hit creatures then great, and you do have a considerable number of creatures here, so you get a decent chance.

Nice suggestion? I may have to find room for that.

Have you considered running spells that force everyone to draw more cards as well? It empties their libraries more quickly and provides you with more resources to control the game. Constant draws could be found with Font of Mythos, Howling Mine, Temple Bell, etc. and mass draw could be found with Prosperity, Skyscribing, etc. Also, I think you could use some artifact ramp like Sol Ring, Thran Dynamo, Gilded Lotus, and/or Dimir Signet. It could vastly increase the speed of your deck, giving your opponents less time to kill you. Finally, I think this deck wants to be more control-styled (it's going to favor long games with you deciding what happens), and to establish yourself as the controller of the game I would run some sort of counter-magic suite (Counterspell, Dissipate, Hinder, Arcane Denial, Dissolve to name a few, and if price doesn't matter Pact of Negation and Cryptic Command are options).

This looks a really cool milling deck, and looks like it has plenty of alternative win-cons too.
As for suggestions, there are the obvious ones like Curse of the Bloody Tome, Dream Twist, and Thought Scour. If you want an additional win condition as well as extra milling, how about Decimator Web?
One thing that may help keep other's from doing too much damage when they attack you is Crawlspace: it makes your walls really very effective.
A big fat +1 from me.
