This deck is designed to use Ayli's first ability as a reliable sac outlet. People are usually afraid of the second ability and attack you to prevent you from getting close to 50 life. Most of the time, you aren't perceived as that big of a threat of Ayli isn't "on" until it's too late. I probably only use the exile ability once a game. Mostly after a sacrificed kokusho gains me 20 life in a 4 player game.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Ayli is a cheap sac outlet in the command zone. I would probably play her even if her only ability was "1 colorless: sacrifice a creature. Everything else is just gravy.

Ayli herself is good at gaining life so no need for life gain cards.

ETB and death triggers are great for reanimating and sacrificing and the deck seeks to out value other decks by utilizing the graveyard.

Yosei + Nim Deathmantle + sac outlet can lock the other players out of the game.

Buried Alive "packages"

• Reveillark + Karmic Guide + Zulaport Cutthroat(with Ashnod's Alter and a reanimate) for the combo kill. The individual pieces are all amazing and I use the combo when games go long or all my stuff gets exiled.

• The "evergreens" bloodghast + reassembling skeleton + undead gladiator(discard outlet).If You have the buried alive early, use it to get these guys. They are useful and amazing with skullclamp, Sidisi, and even westvale abbey.

Graveyard hate and exiling in general is painful for the deck. Of course, the deck can draw a ton of cards and there are no shortage of threats so it's not the end of the world. This deck is not super reliant on the graveyard (like Karador) so you should recover quickly.
