The Main Description
Have you heard of self-mill? What about self-exile? This is basically a self-mill deck, but your self exiling yourself with an al Lure ing Gloom Surgeon , or a buffed Gloom Surgeon .
The Battle Plan
The Times In The Game
The early turns you want to be dropping Gloom Surgeon . No other thing for it, he is the cog that turns this deck. You are going to need him eventually, and the early turns are the best turns to play him. If you don't have him, you should be controlling the game with Mana Leak.
The mid game is when you want to be dropping some of your "combo" pieces. Lure / Infiltration Lens (or both) should make an appearance eventually. This is also a good time to be exiling Misthollow Griffin , as he can become a never ending blocker for the opponent to deal with. And if you don't have a Gloom Surgeon by this point, you can go and fetch him with Diabolic Tutor.
The late game. Now that you have a decent board position and have exiled a fair amount of cards from your library, now it's time to wrap the game up. The game ender in here is Increasing Savagery or Revenge of the Hunted. But, you don't use Increasing Savagery on Gloom Surgeon , you put it on one of your OPPONENTS creatures, so it has to block it, resulting in huge amounts of exiled cards. Then, before your ready to exile your entire library, play Laboratory Maniac and exile your entire library for the win.
The Win Cons
Laboratory Maniac. The obvious, as without him there is no deck. Also, as you may see I included Ranger's Guile to protect both him AND Gloom Surgeon .
Infiltration Lens can win me games by drawing when paired with Lure , and if it isn't going towards the strategy of winning with it by drawing my self out, it's also nice card advantage.
