Thank you my good sir! I will definitely take your suggestions into account. I'm waiting for my cards to come in and play a bit before tweaking. Both suggestions would be quite lovely against my friend's Sydri deck. :)

Anytime! I hope your cards come soon so you can sleeve 'em up and get some testing done. Return to Dust is kind of a meta-call. Two-for-ones are usually pretty good, though.

Aura Shards , on the other hand, is a wrecking ball. Proxy it up during your playtesting--personally, I am never sad to see it.

Have fun when those cards arrive!

Wow... Planar Guide and Rishadan Brigand are gonna go in my roon deck. So amazing.

Yeah, Planar Guide is great protection against a board wipe, and Rishadan Brigand is just mean

Might I interest you in Panglacial Wurm ? It's pretty good when you tutor for creature or land, or sac Defense of the Heart .

The problem with Panglacial Wurm is you still have to pay the cost of playing it. Not really worth it in my opinion.

Dude, your deck really needs ramps. Cultivate Kodama's Reach Urban Evolution Bloom Tender

Those are my favorites! And also, if you run Archaeomancer You can get the ramps back!

One quick thing: make sure that you have 1 or 2 instants or sorceries in your deck if you're going for Primal Surge. If you don't and the opponent plays a Fog effect, you lose. Having something to stop at, even if it's after 7 cards, is very important to prevent you from losing to yourself.

I don't need to. I may choose to leave any permanent exiled rather than put it on the battlefield to keep from repeating the process and decking myself. I removed all sorceries and instances to make sure it's 100% a win con if it resolves.

I had Mystical Tutor before to get more of a chance of getting Primal Surge and Cyclonic Rift because...well... Cyclonic Rift . haha. But I've gotten unlucky and hit one of those 2 too soon after, even a card or two in of Primal Surge resolving.

No Palinchron?

Cool deck though, I have a friend who plays blink and I absolutely hated it until I learned to outrun it lol.

Palinchron is a great card, but I'm currently strapped for cash after buying the upgrades I have. I have Peregrine Drake and Great Whale to pair for infinite mana with Deadeye Navigator in place for now. That would definitely be a traded upgraded in the future though.

Ah yeah I didn't notice the drake and whale. Derps.

I am not a fan of primal surge. Roon works best with tons of ramp, and the surge has left you playing little ramp. What is your budget going forward so I know how to suggest.

If I was to rework this deck around not using Primal Surge I'd change it to Derevi and have more untap mechanics. As it is I want this deck focused around Primal Surge. I have as much permanent ramp and accel as I have found, and this deck has other wincons as well.

I run a pretty strong Roon deck, and vs anything decent, those spells really help me out. That, and the quick land base.

I really don't see how you can build a deck in these colors to run off of one sorcery. If that is what you are going to stick to though, I do have a couple things to suggest. Planar Portal, Ring of Three Wishes would give you tutors for it. Treasure Mage would let you search out the portal, and the memorial.

Wood Elves great creature ramp out lands guy. Breeding Pool, Temple Garden, Hallowed Fountain really are worth it, and wood elves can grab one of the 2 forest ones.

Pain lands are cheap, and come in untapped. Adarkar Wastes, Brushland, Yavimaya Coast

You will Roon the day! if you want to check mine out.

Thanks for the suggestions! I just like the gimmick of Primal Surge so built it around that. The land base is the biggest upgrade I have to work on next when budget allows and the ones you've suggested are excellent. I'm debating throwing my Mystical Tutor back in. It stops primal surge, but I have Eternal Witness and for recursion if I can hit that the first time, just to double my chances of getting that card off. As I said, there are other wincons and this deck performs pretty well for me. it's not 100% competetive, but it's very fun and varies quite often on my tactic per game. I appreciate all suggestions :)
