Have you thought about adding Bow of Nylea to make your Lion virtually untouchable?

Xwright: Bow of Nylea used to be in here but I wasn't getting as much utility out of it as I was with things like Gods Willing that were actually keeping my creatures alive. I was heartbroken even when I had to remove it from main and add it to the side, and eventually I realized I never had a good use for it so I removed it completely... This just isn't the right deck for it, as I need to survive removal and the bow does nothing for that purpose. But I did used to run it, as said before, because it was a badass enchantment artifact that did a bunch of cool shit!

I understand, usually whenever I run Bow of Nylea I also run Archetype of Endurance so that I have protection from removal.

A couple suggestions from JOU for you. First off, I think this deck would benefit a lot from Aegis of the Gods so that your kitties aren't vulnerable to things like Devour Flesh or Celestial Flare . Essentially there would be no way to touch them except for Merciless Eviction at that point, as long as you can protect the Aegis of the Gods.

Another possibility is Reprisal . I think the best functionality of the Selesnya Charm in this deck is it's removal capabilities, and reprisal, while not as versatile, can do the removal aspect a little bit better for a slightly less exacting mana cost. That change is a bit iffy, though, since it's destroy instead of exile, and you lose the creature buff and 2/2 knight options. However, play testing this briefly against one of my decks, it seemed the biggest weakness of the deck is a lack of effective removal.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Just realized, this deck can also benefit quite a bit from Banishing Light . Another removal spell, but also would help out with Ethereal Armor

TheGreatLiar: I had already been thinking about replacing Pacifism with Banishing Light , as it is a much stronger card and I can play it for two mana. So I definitely agree with that.

Aegis of the Gods had never even occured to me. That card has a lot of synergy as well, being an enchantment creature, and, as you said, it prevents those pesky 'target player' spells that kill my shit.

I think I'm going to leave Selesnya Charm in this deck though. While I do like that it destroys creatures one attack less I really like that Selesnya Charm gives me an emergency creature. I am not running as many creatures as I really want to so I run it as a 'this-or-that.'

Thanks a lot for the comments and suggestions!

Actually, Banishing Light would still cost you three. It's not an aura. Unless you're getting cheaper enchants from something other than Hero of iroas.

TheGreatLiar: Oh that's right... hmm... I don't know then, I guess I could always just playtest it out.

Yeah, I think Storm Crow would be a better option anyway.
