Would you consider swapping one or two of your Battlewise Valor for Dauntless Onslaught . Yeah, it's one extra mana, but its still instant speed, has the same effect AND targets two heroic creatures instead of one. Just a thought.

I actually have been thinking about adding Dauntless Onslaught . Gonna try it out see how it goes and whatnot. Still testing the crap out of this thing right now, so changes are gonna be common. Thanks for the input! Appreciate it.

@ OccupyMagic, after testing Dauntless Onslaught has worked wonders for me. It's allowed double heroic triggers at once and made my guys big VERY fast. Thank you for the suggestion. It's helped and I greatly appreciate it.

consider Hidden Strings . The heroic potential is pretty big with that card

@ bjarkov I've been looking at Hidden Strings for a bit. I'm just not sure what to take out in it's place.

Hidden strings is a bit slow, considering to make proper use of it for heroic, you have to cast it after combat. And you have to actually deal damage. Pseudo vigilance is a bit weak but idk. Triton tactics is better initially but this could proc a few times if they don't eat removal.

Swap essence scatter for Dissolve because it's just better. Scry 1 is worth U as it is, so for NO EXTRA COST you can counter anything.

I dont understand what you mean TEGHabibird. Hidden Strings is perfectly castable precombat, and can even be used to open up your opponent's defenses before swinging for cipher. I find it a very versatile spell since you can

a) untap your land for additional plays/counterspell

b) tap down the opponent's defenses for some easy damage

or c) trigger heroics while ensuring you have blockers for the retaliation

Imo, if the cipher just triggers once (and this should be fairly easy, yes?) this spell has paid itself back well enough. just cipher it on a low priority target

What's the point? Untap your already untapped creatures before combat? Tapping theirs is alright but if this is meant for heroic, then it's being wasted on dividing blockers. Also, he can just block the ciphered creature to stop the effect.

This deck doesn't run enough counters to justify essence scatter. You're an aggro-hybrid deck with counter spells? Should make room for something more useful like another heroic proc

uh.. tap down opponent's creatures precombat, then swing through and do whatever you want with the cipher copy?

Because your average standard deck has 2 creatures?

Come on guys no need to argue here. @ TEGHabibird, I've got Essence Scatter here mainly to get rid of big threats my opponent has. I know I don't have a bunch of counter in here. Possibly sideboard them for something else? Also Dissolve is one I want to add, but I have just one copy sadly.

Hidden Strings I can sideboard as well against aggro deck I know that can outrun me. I understand where bjarkov is coming from about how it works for heroic. Thanks guys for taking the time and effort to check the deck out.

I know "dies" to removal is a dead horse. Have you considered Ascended Lawmage ? IMO, Fabled Hero and Battlewise Hoplite and Favored Hoplite

Land that guy with a Ordeal and watch your non-stormbreath non-verdict decks get crushed

where is the Elite Arcanist ?! you use Triton Tactics or and other target spell and have target spells on a stick for your heroic effects. Think a bit more control too if you want. Too many creatures and not enough targetting and your effects only trigger a little, the opposite and they do not trigger enough

@ Inces_Velus you know I didn't think about that at all. Elite Arcanist gives me a infinite number of heroic triggers with ability which is great. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll work it in and see how it goes.

Wrong!!! Elite Arcanist won't trigger Heroic, it make copys, and heroic need you to CAST something.

Arcanis86 Actually elite arcanist will work. The wording says that you may CAST the copied card, just without paying a mana cost. Meaning that heroic effects will still trigger from the copied cast.

I'm working on a deck along the lines of this. One piece of advice that was given to me, that I'll give to you is that the Azorius Charm isn't that great in this type of deck. Most of the time you will be using the charm to bounce a blocker back. Bouncing the creature back is great, and causes them to lose a draw, but you are still blocked. Why not get the potential blocker out of the way before the attack with Voyage's End or Dramatic Rescue .

The charm would be a perfect fit for the sideboard, siding it in for aggressive decks and the mirror decks, when both decks would be alpha striking.

If you want to, take a look at my deck. You may just get some idea's, or you could find something that I could work on. Enchanted Heroics (HELP, Please?)

Azorius Charm I have in here for early card draw and the lifelink if I'm being out ran. I'll definitely try Dramatic Rescue in here. I had thought about adding it when I first started planning the deck out. I'll be sure to give it another try. I'll be glad to check out your deck and see if there is anything I can help with, or if there is anything there I might have overlooked that could help with mine.

I feel like you should up the Triton Tactics just being able to trigger heroic for "U" will be invaluable.

Also Ethereal Armor is another good one. I think I like it better than the ordeals.

@ kintighd yeah I most likely do need to up the number of Triton Tactics . Ethereal Armor would be great here. With the ordeals out, the creature with Ethereal Armor on it will get very big. I'm gonna try and fit in the armor in without having to lower my ordeals because the card draw and life gain I gain from them is great. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it.
