Aggro central. Spam those counters to victory.

Fabled Hero + Hidden Strings & Favored Hoplite

Fabled Hero hits first due to double strike. Retriggers hidden strings which was already cast on both. Equals massive damage for little mana.

Ajani, Caller of the Pride + Precinct Captain

More counters for Bioshift play? Or make two 1/1 soldiers? Why not.

Brave the Elements

Make all your small creatures unblock able in later game? Very nice.

I have also noticed while this is aggro if the opponent doesn't have a huge amount of removal spells some creatures can get massive amount of counters late game.

Note this is made out of cards I own.

I took this deck to a Friday Night Magic at a local store and came out winning a single booster.

Now... The interesting parts...

Hidden Strings on Fabled Hero can be game breaking. If it's unblocked (Hopefully with Aqueous Form) it will trigger strings twice. Due to activating via combat damage it will activate once with First Strike and then again with the Main damage phase.

This results you being able to tap 4 things whether for counters or lands.

With this in mind I think 2 Ajani, Caller of the Pride would seriously help push this deck forward by providing another means of avoiding blockers (give flying) as well as providing double strike hence adding Precinct Captain into the mix with the synergy with Spear of Heliod.

Any advice welcome.
