since fabled hero is your heavey hitter, control/removal decks will try a get him out before you can pump him. maybe add some boros charms and gods willing.

try and side board brave the elements its worth it and if your going up against any mono decks there's not much they can do.

You could try Madcap Skills Celestial Flare is probably better than Divine Verdict Other than that maybe try to even out the cards you play like think about the 1 of's you run and see if it would be better to increase chances to draw other cards. For example your Hundred-Handed One and Arena Athlete could probably be taken out.

I would try some Bestow creatures as a Heroic trigger. It has done wonders for my deck Weenie Slap (1st @ FNM). Check it out for ideas. +1 for you.

cool thanks! I'd rather keep in favored hoplite for his heroic trigger because it goes better with the speed of this deck but the spear is a good idea I hadn't thought of

do I have enough enchantments to make it work? seems a little slow for this deck kinda. the way I've been winning is by swinging with a Favored Hoplite wearing a Madcap Skills and then surprising the fuck outta them with a Titan's Strength + Boros Charm for double strike 20 damage. Idk interesting suggestion though, I might like it better in a deck with Eidolon of Countless Battles and Hero of Iroas or something

Great deck! I run something very similar so I'm glad to see I'm not alone. I agree with everyone else, you should definitely consider 4 Ethereal Armor to go along with your Madcaps. You might also want to consider some Hopeful Eidolon which is great for bestow or as a one drop and combos with Ethereal either way. I don't know if you're trying to budget, but Chained to the Rocks has better removal than Last Breath and again would combo with Ethereal. If you like Gods Willing you might also want to consider Brave the Elements . It does not trigger heroic, but will protect all your precious creatures and also give you the opportunity to due direct damage. I ran 2xHero of Iroas to go along with the Ethereal and Madcaps. It worked pretty well as a turn 3 combo, but I recently switched him out for 2x Soldier of the Pantheon . I have not yet been able to try out Eidolon of Countless Battles though. Hope this helps!

thanks!

I would just like to say Eidolon of Countless Battles is one of the greatest freakin cards in standard right now imho. You definitely gotta try him out he is control's nightmare especially when Bestowed. That being said, if you do include him, I recommend a creature/enchantment count of 25-30 to use him to his full potential.

thanks!! at this point i'd probably just make a different deck based around him and ethereal armor/madcap skills because this heroic deck is pretty good right now

Madcap Skills just just absolutely loves Ethereal Armor , I'd say it's something to consider for a build like this.
