This is a monowhite, aggro BUDGET deck, (kinda, since the Ajani is the most expensive card on it), I'm currently using. It's designed to boost
Nyxborn Shieldmate
,
Hopeful Eidolon
or
Favored Hoplite
with Ethereal Armor pretty fast, swing for big hits early in the game, then win by casting Ajani, Caller of the Pride and hitting flying with double strike.
It's pretty consistent, yet not invincible, if you are looking for a Standard mono white fast aggro deck, this one is a good option.
The Key combo is :
T1 Plain + cast
Favored Hoplite
or
Nyxborn Shieldmate
or
Hopeful Eidolon
/T2 Plain + cast
Hopeful Eidolon
or
Nyxborn Shieldmate
+ cast Ethereal Armor , target 1st casted creature = swing for 4. / T3 Plain +
Gift of Orzhova
target on the first creature casted, both creatures attack, swing for 7 ( or 8 if your 1st creature was the
Favored Hoplite
. /T4 Plain or something else + Cast Ajani, Caller of the Pride remove counters, give your biggest creature double strike and flying. attack with ALL your creatures (you may have two by now, and best case scenario both are flying). Hopefully by now u have some Brave the Elements and One Plain available for protection. = WIN.
Judge's Familiar is on the deck to counter your opponents instants or sorceries.
Phalanx Leader
is on the deck to boost all your creatures during mid game or to be casted in case you do not open with an Enchantment creature.
Ordeal of Heliod
is used to gain life mid - late in the game.
Spear of Heliod , boosts all your creatures AND removes your opponent's creatures that hit you.
Brave the Elements and Gods Willing are used for protection on your creatures.
Like I said, it is not an invincible deck, (an early
Celestial Flare
or an overloaded
Electrickery
, might kill the weenies ) YET it gives surprises.
Main deck has a mana curve of 1.5, so it's pretty fast. With the sideboard on, it rises up to 1.85 depending on what you add.
