This deck is blue and white, and relies heavily on creatures, enchantments, and slowing down your opponent with a variety of control spells and abilities.

First and foremost are the creatures of this deck. Most of them are humans, and have the "Heroic" ability. Battlewise Hoplite is a solid 2/2 for 2 mana, and pumps up and scry1 each time a spell targets it. The main power behind the creatures is Phalanx Leader , which gives every creature +1/+1 when a spell targets it, effectively pumping up your army for cheap.

Ajani, Caller of the Pride, while he cannot trigger heroic abilities, provides even more pumping up, and eventually provides you with a vast army for the Phalanx Leader to pump up, as does Heliod, God of the Sun. Deputy of Acquittals lets you declare blockers, and return them to your hand before damage is dealt, along with returning Lyev Skynight and Banisher Priest, letting you resuse and redirect detain abilities that trigger upon casting these creatures. Fabled Hero 's doublestrike lets you get double out of enchantments and damage, and Precinct Captain adds to your army.

Imposing Sovereign slows down your opponent further, Frontline Medic makes your army indestructable, and Artisan of Forms gives you some flexibility and lets you copy your, or your opponents, best creature. Besides enchanments that pump up and trigger heroic abilities, Detention Sphere, Negate, and Render Silent let you address non creature threats, that your creature cannot handle.

Overall, this deck features small creatures, mostly 2 or 3 mana each, but amasses a army in a few turns, along with pumping up each creature. It has enough control measures to slow down your opponent while you build this army. I prefer to play more defensively, even though it is similar to a white weeny deck.
