At first this all started as a joke and to show some friends that u can play small modern gamedays with an heroic deck.
Little shoutout to pepsiaddicted the person who brought me to tappedout. A great friend and player. Look up his decks they are awesome.
So i gave it a shot and realized it is way better then i imagined it to be.
It is a aggro heavy deck that ist able to swing leathel on turn 2 aims for turn 3-4 or goes a control ro ute by trying to landscrew your opponents.
Turn 2 kill needs a swiftspear hoplite or trailblazer 2 fetch lands assault strobe become immense 2 gitaxian spells.
Every combat trick triggers your creatures on cast so countering your stuff is kinda useless. Plus almost every spell is cast for 1 mana or less so they are all like buffed versions of the original spell depending on the heroic trigger you get.
Landscrew route:
Turn 1
Flagstones of Trokair any white land
Favored Hoplite
(Gutshot/Mutagenic Growth to let him survive bolts)
Turn2
Fetch or Shockland
Play a Monastery Swiftspear/Rancor and Crack the Earth to screw your enemy while you still have a trigger for the swiftspear Plus another shock in play for turn 3 since you sacrificed the Flagstones of Trokair/ or rancor so u cant get another trigger for your creatures.
This way you could even go for another Crack the Earth or play a
Phalanx Leader
plus a spell to trigger his ability +1/+1 counters for everybody yippy! While your enemy starts his turn 3 with either 0 or 1 lands in play and the game should be over by then.
Aggro route
Didnt draw Crack the Earth? Dont worry you can go ham on your enemy by just beating them merciless
Turn 1
Akroan Crusader
or
Favored Hoplite
Turn 2
Another hoplite swiftspear crusader or a phalanx leader
Turn 3
Depending on your hand you might wanna play something pre combat otherwise swing and look at your opponents that mostly drop to 0 cause they dont expect you to boost 10-15 power with 2 free mana to spend.
The sideboard is mainly against control/combo decks like jeskai combo abzan company because stuff like burn infect were pretty easy to handle so far .
I am always open for suggestions but please consider this deck works cause the average cmc is really low if you cast your phyrexian spells for life you can empty your hand real quick.
