Hello everybody! This is actually my second attempt at brewing a viable Trash for Treasure deck. Mi previous one (Dump is poor man's playground) was a sort of mono Red Eggs, but even appreciating the card advantage, it simply didn't have enough value on board. So i tried to build an Affinity-like shell around my core, but it was unsatisfying. I found what i was looking for in this deck Trash for Treasure Deck, since i am highly unfamiliar with Kdh's block. But let's talk about the cards, shall we?

The Looting

Faithless Looting and Tormenting Voice have the same role: find one of our enable and discard our big, bad artifacts. Tormenting Voice is preferred to Cathartic Reunion because, being obliged to discard THEN draw, i prefer to discard just one card.

The Sacrifice Fodder Since Madcap Experiment doesn't allow me to play pretty, little artifacts, i resolved with Thraben Inspector (clues are artifacts) and Servo Exhibition. I tried Sram's Expertise, but it's a bit over the curve.

The Beaters

Sharuum the Hegemon is a flying 5/5 which brings back a friend when summoned, in a fashion similar to Demigod of Revenge . It's even better if you reanimate an Inkwell Leviathan since it is so hard for your opponent to deal with. Another great target for reanimation is Cataclysmic Gearhulk. It may be the weakest beater, but its boardwipe effect really helps clean the table. Playtesting i have been able to reanimate Sharuum the Hegemon and bring back Cataclysmic Gearhulk on turn 4. Also, se can hardcast it if we have to. Noxious Gearhulk has a somewhat similar role, killing specific threats and giving us some life.

Removal

Other than Cataclysmic Gearhulk we have just three removals: Noxious Gearhulk and Lightning Axe. The latter is not a perfect substitute of Path to Exile, but it costs 1 mana and make us discard, which can be very helpful; In side Pyroclasm is prefered over Anger of the Gods due to its CMC. For the same reason i don't play Nahiri's Wrath, but it is still a possibly good card in this deck.

Now, it looks better than its mono Red counterpart, but it still requires some work. Thinking to the current meta, it is vulnerable to discard and graveyard hate (Though Madcap Experiment and Fragmentize help playing around it), which are really common these days.
