This deck is a possible variant of a mill deck that I already have created for my girlfriend. This variant is a fully defender mill deck that relies on getting out the Phenax, God of Deception onto the field and doing large amounts of milling.
On to the cards...
Creatures
Black Oak of Odunos is a 0/5 wall for 3 that can gain strength to take down any threats that may attempt to break through the walls.
Hover Barrier is a great flying wall that with the Dimir God can tap to mill out opponents.
Murmuring Phantasm is just like the Hover Barrier but not a flier and cost one less.
Wall of Frost is the deterrent wall in the deck. Many aggro decks will stop assaults if it would slow down the creature.
Consuming Aberration is devastating with the Dimir God out. He would double his stats as well as do a great job milling the opponent.
Phenax, God of Deception is the key player in the deck by allowing for all other creatures to mill out the opponent. He can also mill if he becomes a creature.
Duskmantle Guildmage kills... his first ability allows many of the walls to deal damage in their own way, by milling. Also for 5 mana you can use his first ability and then use Breaking / Entering on an opponent.
Instant/Sorcery
Breaking / Entering a great fit. Milling 8 for 2 is just a great way to start of the game.
Read the Bones allows for digging to occur. Need the God or a Consuming Aberration? This is the card to accelerate getting them.
Planeswalkers
Jace, Memory Adept this is a mill deck... he mills a lot... enough said.
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver can allow for decks to be turned against itself. Taking a powerful creature such as a Desecration Demon can hurt a deck heavily.
