This deck tries to be the fastest burn deck in EDH, even Norin & Purphoros decks are more Consistent.

For the deck to work, you need to get hidetsugu's ability off at least twice in order to get your opponents into range to be burned out, unless you have Dictate or Overblaze.

There isn't a lot to protect your burn spells, because the deck can't afford to play around disruption because dealing even dealing 5 damage to each player can be challenge.

Cards like Spark Storm and Zap are in the deck to in order to change odd or even life totals, since if Hidetsugu's damage is doubled, he will put a player to 1 life if they have an odd numbered life total.
