Cerebral Eruption ? In Modern? Who is this guy?

A visionary. A dreamer. Probably an idiot. And this is his baby.

This is a R/U Delver revolving around Brain in a Jar to make your spell-slinging more efficient while your beaters swing away. There's always mana open for counters thanks to Hidden Strings and Brain in a Jar , plus Hidden Strings ' cipher ability allows me to cast a spell for free every turn, which is great for Young Pyromancer and Electrostatic Field . The efficiency of Brain in a Jar allows me to 1) cast spells even if I don't have quite the right land base, 2) cast expensive spells for 1 mana, and 3) do all of that at instant speed, so expensive sorceries turn into cheap instants.

If it seems too good to be true, that probably means you're a skilled magic player who understands meta much better than I do. Otherwise, you're just a hipster dreamer like me.

Any suggestions are welcome, especially if I've never heard of them before.
