Hogaak's all you can eat

Commander / EDH BG (Golgari)

Robochuck

When Feasting Troll King was released, I wanted a food deck. When I realized you don't get the cast effect from the command zone, I got sad. But it was at that time that the Modern Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis deck was going around, and the combo-mill finish capacity of that deck really made me want to try it out, but in commander. Enter the Food/mill deck. A golgari-colour monstrosity that lays low until it can ambush the table with explosive mill comboes.

The food theme is basically only still there for the above mentioned Feasting Troll King but cards like Gilded Goose and Tempting Witch use the your extra food well. Cauldron Familiar and its friend the Witch's Oven are also there to give you a steady supply and use for Food tokens.

Play it cool by milling yourself with Altar of Dementia and other Dredge cards. Use Birthing Pod to run up a chain of utility creatures like Meren of Clan Nel Toth

Ghoulcaller Gisa Puts in a lot of work in this deck. There is a plethora of cheap, high power creatures to abuse... and there is Hogaak that you can re-cast from the grave with its own tokens!

I really want to bring your attention to the interaction between Syr Konrad, the Grim and Mindcrank. Depending on your table's creature density in decks, you might have just won on the spot.
