Beckon Apparition could be very good. I shall try testing it. Also: GONE INSANE FROM THE PAIN THAT THEY SURELY KNOW

Maybe sideboard, because it likes making it so that the opponent can't cast anything short of a sweeper to undo one of your token makers. Beckon Apparition can be killed with one spell.

It helps against reanimate effects. what about a Vault of the Archangel or two?

Hmmm...I'll think about it, but I'd rather have my mana base be more consistent. Do you think it would have a significant impact?
July 23, 2014 10:29 p.m.
lifelink and deathtouch can change a game around. Personally i would take out a windbrisk heights and a cave of kolios for 2 of them. Or just run as a one of,

Why not take out two basic lands rather than a duel land and a land that is basically a plains with value?

Oh, derp. I forgot that windbrisk entered the battlefield tapped

This is the first time I have ever had to say this, but your deck has too much hand disruption. You want 9-10. 12 is a bit much. Replace Midnight Haunting with Raise the Alarm . Up your lands to 23. I find Elspeth, Knight-Errant to be superior to sorin, I would run a split. Take Tidehollow Sculler down to 3. Replace Kataki, War's Wage with Stony Silence . What is your local meta?
July 24, 2014 12:13 p.m.
I've had great success with Hour of Reckoning at the tourney this past week.
July 24, 2014 12:44 p.m.
Hour of Reckoning is good against some decks, but overall it's best not to have it. There are better slots in the main or side board.

I think that I want four mana to be the most that this deck plays.
-1 tidehollow
-1thoughtseize or -1 inquisition, which do you guys think?
+4 raise the alarm
-4 haunting
I think I prefer kataki because of the 2/1 body, and that stony silence only hits activated abilities Two sorin one elspeth or vice versa?
+1 plains
July 24, 2014 1:04 p.m.
Stony Silence neuters threats far more effectively than kataki. It is a lot less susceptible to being destroyed as well. You shod have 4 Thoughtseize . This is mandatory. A good amount is 4 Thoughtseize , 3 Tidehollow Sculler and 2 Inquisition of Kozilek . Take a look at my deck Swarm and Conquer V 2.0 if you want.

Having stony silence also would cause problems because of the fact that I'd like to have an aggressive curve, and stony silence doesn't have any aggressive aspect about it
July 24, 2014 1:20 p.m.
Doesn't matter. Stony Silence is still the better card. It ruins affinity completely and has impacts on other decks liketron, which kataki does nothing against. And thanks. I know more about b/w tokens than anyone else on the site to my knowledge.
July 24, 2014 1:39 p.m.
I kind of disagree with Raise the Alarm > Midnight Haunting . Yes raise is cheaper but the haunting tokens gain flying. evasion to me is > some meh 1/1 soldiers. Just my 2 cents but hey.
July 24, 2014 2:10 p.m.
Ghosthunter39. Raise the Alarm works far better into the curve of b/w tokens than Midnight Haunting does.

Raise the alarm DOES fit the curve better. How expensive is Stony Silence ?
July 24, 2014 5:03 p.m.
Ghosthunter39, trust me. Raise the Alarm is better. You mean well, but I know more about this than you. And not very expensive at all. You can order them through tcgplayer.com for around a dollar each.
