****Prototype
-Updated 6.6.17
Alright, this is something I've had running through my head for a while and figured it's time to put it onto paper (and internet). I loved Ghirapur AEther Grid when it was printed, but the "Clue Grid" builds just don't cut it for me. How can I make it a stronger card? As mentioned, this is a prototype and is under construction at the moment, so all of your input is greatly appreciated. As far as competitive play...MAYBE, but on the kitchen table, this should be a blast, and not to mention, pretty wallet friendly.

-Game Plan
This deck is built around one card from Amonkhet -> Throne of the God-Pharaoh.

The game plan here is to get as many servo / artifact tokens out as early as possible, tapping for Ghirapur AEther Grid, triggering huge Throne of the God-Pharaoh hits and closing the game in a couple turns after the combo is on the table...Attacking directly is not part of the game plan, but you will probably have to do some blocking with your token generators (Pia and Kiran Nalaar, Thopter Engineer, Whirler Rogue), which is fine- because like I said, we will never be "attacking". Those creatures are solely token generators and a defense for staying alive. Our ability to improvise our artifacts, while juicing up our Throne in the process will boost our advantage of pulling what we need with cards such as Reverse Engineer. I am trying to figure our a way to bounce our creatures back to our hand to trigger them an additional time. Perhaps Engulf the Shore can fit somewhere in the future.

-Creatures
Pia and Kiran Nalaar - One of the best in this build...we get what we need, have a 2/2 body and an optional ability we can use if we need.
Ornithopter - Being as we need as many cheap artifact creatures as possible...4 copies will make the board.
Reckless Fireweaver - This might end up in the main board. Even though we can't tap our tokens the same turn they are put into play, this will get that extra couple damage through that can't until next turn.
Phyrexian Revoker - This shows up in the sideboard in case we need to shut down other combo decks. It fits perfectly in this deck, giving us an artifact to tap, while shutting down our opponent.
Thopter Engineer - Having this on the board will let all of our artifact creatures tap the turn they're brought into play, which get's us there that much quicker, and makes Servo Exhibition that much better.
Whirler Rogue - Because we can only have 4 Pia and Kiran Nalaar...
Hangarback Walker - Fits the bill quite well here...although we are running it in the sideboard, there probably should be a full set in the mainboard. Use it how you'd like. If it dies, good: More tokens.
Padeem, Consul of Innovation - This is not a bad idea to have in the sideboard, for obvious reasons.
Master Trinketeer - Once again, this guy gives us a bunch of sweet perks while in play...although we really don't need our tokens to be beefed up- what does it hurt? Especially a mirror token deck. Being able to create extra tokens every turn is another huge upside to playing this card.
Maverick Thopterist - A two-drop which activates 3 of our tokens and gives us 2 more. Dropping this can send 5 damage through on your end step if Thopter Engineer is on the table.
Whirler Virtuoso - In a more energy-heavy build, this card will indeed see play. Even so, this is still not a bad card in your average deck, giving us one token...maybe a couple more if you add Glimmer of Genius, or add Decoction Module.
Reclusive Artificer - This can be a sideboard option if you find yourself overrun with creatures, or in a more aggro-based version.
Quicksmith Genius - Genius can help us when the chips are down.
-Token Generators
Servo Exhibition - While not at instant speed, this is one of the best options so far for getting the fodder we need to build up our army of artifact creatures. It's the best we have for the format we're playing.
Sram's Expertise - A no-shitter here: 3 Servos, combo it up with Servo Exhibition or what have you.
Servo Schematic - While there is not clear exactly how we will get the Schematic off the table to create another token...it is, however, fuel for Ghirapur AEther Grid and a mana source for Reverse Engineer.
Foundry of the Consuls - This is our late game generator. Tap for early, then sac it for tokens.
Efficient Construction - There aren't enough artifacts in the deck for this to see play just yet, but this could work with a few tweaks, or even so in a Modern build.
-Card Advantage
Dig Through Time - While not seen in this build, it is a great card that can be used if, by mid-late game, we still do not have our win conditions set in play. Probably no more than a one of in most builds.
Reverse Engineer - Our best choice for drawing additional cards. We can improvise our tokens to play it for , and having them tapped is just what we want. Although we won't be able to tap them for our Ghirapur AEther Grid, it's certainly ok, because they will go through with the Throne.
Magmatic Insight - Since lands are less-desireable off the curve, this will throw away what we don't need and hopefully snag us what we do need.
-Board Security
Metallic Rebuke - Improvising when we can is the biggest upside of this deck.
Shrapnel Blast - In case of the inevitable matches, you can board in some spot removal. Combo this up with Servo Schematic when you can.
Authority of the Consuls - This will give us an upside if we are being overrun, especially in a token mirror-match. Gaining life is also pretty sweet as well.
Heroic Intervention - If you splash green, this is a must have in case of a board wipe.
Perilous Vault - Another artifact to improvise, giving us the option to clean house if things get ugly.
Into the Roil - Bounce your creatures back to create more tokens and draw a card in the process - awesome.

-Records / Testing
Throne vs. U/B Control - 2-0-1
This control deck played copies of Phyrexian Revoker, which ultimately shut down our combo targeting Ghirapur AEther Grid & Infinite Obliteration extracted our Pia's. We lost to Tasigur, the Golden Fang game 1. Game two, although our combo was shut down yet again, we won by overrunning our opponent with a shit ton of tokens, sac'ing them to Pia and Kiran Nalaar & attacking in the air- while Throne of the God-Pharaoh got in the extra couple beats for the win. Game 3 went as good as it could have, got our combo pieces on the table and went for the win. If Sram's Expertise resolves, it's easily our most explosive card and can flood the board quick.

I am still working on proper functioning mana base. Foundry of the Consuls can help us in the late game, sac'ing it to the Throne, while Wandering Fumarole seeing a couple of copies for a plan B if shit goes south.

I suppose you can build this a few different ways, but drafting roughly yielded Jeskai... Foul-Tongue Shriek is a card that can also be put to use in this deck, and will probably end up in there at some point. Hangarback Walker fits this deck perfectly, which can be used aggressively, or defensively, with losing it only giving us that much more of an advantage on our next end step.

Updates Add

This deck seemed to have some issues not having what we need when we need it, or having a bunch of things we don't need. 2 copies of Cathartic Reunion went in the wade through the trash heap we call a deck, while going down a Reverse Engineer. Having that a one-of seems best for now. Also, we went down a Flooded Strand to make another slot for Reunion.
