FNM outcome! —Aug. 3, 2013

Didnt have a chance to play it myself but the deck was played by herossurrender with amazing results. 4-1 for the night making it to top 8. Thank you herossurrender for the update and spreading my ideas to others!

Hey man i want to run this deck at the next FNM coming up. My problem is you keep switching the deck list every couple of days so i dont have enough time to get all the new cards you put in :D Anyways i have all the cards for this deck list and previous deck lists except a 3rd Archangel of Thune and the 4 Loxodon Smiter So what deck list would you recommend running at FNM? Mind helping me out? xD Sorry if you might have to type a long reply.

Lol, yeah sorry about the frequent switches over the last week or so. The deck was in an intense testing stage. As it started to go post rotation, I noticed alot of inconsistencies that I didnt like. Not enough land, too much land that sort of stuff. While I liked every switch for different reasons, the stages before didnt have a flow. I was wining a lot but for many different reasons and sometimes unpredictable ones. This current list makes every game the same strategy bringing up its consistency. This is what I will be running for a long time until I see something else I believe will help the deck further. Please keep me updated on how you do if you run the deck. I am very flattered that you feel confident enough to run it yourself, thanks. I cant make it to fnm this week due to work but am interested to see how it will do. Let me know!

I like where the deck is now, takes an aggressive nature with a few combat tricks, I feel like you want to take advantage of the 4 Elvish Mystic maybe Angel of Serenity doesn't fit the plan as much anymore? There are some nice 5 and 6 drop green creatures that would love the four mystic, but if the Angel is your pick, you could probably drop one of the Mystics, I don't see anything hard to cast in green that you would need them on, and they are terrible to draw later if you mulligan and keep the way you should, another note, I would try adding better synergy with the Angelic Accord plan, Rootborn Defenses in place of all 3 Brave the Elements they protect all your creatures, not just the white ones, and if there is an angel token out, Rootborn makes another. I would still keep a Brave the Elements or two, sometimes you just need something to punch that last bit of damage through a wall of creatures and insurance against a top deck sweeper.
