Hey so when i played kaalia the most important things are: to bring her to the field fast, protect her and give her haste. So since those things are important you need tutors demonic tutor, enlightened tutor vampiric tutor and so on. When you put them you'll need artifacts that give colored mana like chromatic lantern, fellwar stone gilded lotus lotus petal..For protection there isn't al lot of good cards but there is a few like god's willing center soul feat of resistance those 3 things are more important than removal. And put lightning mauler hammer of purphoros and break through the line is a powerhouse

Lightning Mauler is really good, gonna include that one. I had Hammer of Purphoros but removed it because of the double red. I prefer cmc3 Creatures like Akki Drillmaster.

Cavern of Souls, Vampiric Tutor, Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Tutor, Armageddon, Wrath of God, Damnation, Phyrexian Arena, Expedition Map, Path to Exile, Animate Dead, Reanimate, Unburial Rites, Necromancy are some suggestions. Tutors are always good, cavern makes kaalia uncounterable, wrath effects are amazing (as long as they aren't expensive AF) when you have an Avacyn out of a Boros Charm ready (or to clear out a big board when you're behind), and reanimating effects are great for when you've lost your best creatures. Personally, I think cards like Dead Drop or the ones that burn creatures/face Flametongue Kavu Mardu Charm are not worth it. If you're in a multiplayer game and giving up a card to get a 1 for 1, maybe a 2 for 1 if you're lucky, you're still a card behind everyone else without affecting the global board state. It looks like you're going for the straight up beat face style of Kaalia. If you're doing that, I suggest finding ways to lock your opponents out since you'll be their biggest target. Winter Orb, Static Orb, Iona, Shield of Emeria, Grand Abolisher can help with that. I'd say to drop your creature count. 34 creatures is overkill and you could be using those extra slots for artifact mana rocks or equipment like the swords, or reanimate/wrath effects. Oh and if you like haste, Break Through the Line. Strionic Resonator is a cool artifact for Kaalia- 2 triggers instead of 1.

I have to say I started using Earnest Fellowship not long ago and it feels amazing giving Kaalia protection from 60% of the mtg color wheel. Also, this virtually removes the need for Mother of Runes as it is basically a better version of her. Put this enchantment in and replace Mother of Runes with Serra Ascendant. Packs much more of a punch overall for the same cmc.

Kaalia must haves: Defense Grid, Necropotence, Cataclysm, Council's Judgment, Hellkite Tyrant, Grand Abolisher, Rakdos the Defiler, Sire Of Insanity, Hall of the Bandit Lord, Cavern of Souls

I do think the creature count is very high. Might want to cut that down some. Think of it like this for narrowing down creatures: Does it impact the game, as in gain you a significant advantage, the turn it comes out? Does it help protect Kaalia? Some creatures, though really cool, usually just devolve into dumb beatsticks that don't do anything else for you. I'd say try to avoid that if you can.

The 2cmc mana rock count is a bit high as well. I personally believe having only the three signets, Coldsteel Heart, Fellwar Stone, Lotus Petal, Sol Ring (obviously), and Talisman of Indulgence is enough. Any more and you're likely overdoing it.

I also agree with needs more tutors. Some good examples are Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Enlightened Tutor, and Tainted Pact. The last one only works well if you run your deck highlander style.

@Abysswalker, Earnest Fellowship is just rofl wtf lol. Didn't know such a card exists and DEFINITELY gonna include it as soon as I get my hands on it. As for the other cards, e.g. tutors/Cavern, those are rather expensive. Hence, they will be obtained only one by one.

I included so much artifact mana because of Armageddon and the soon to be included Cataclysm as well as Winter Orb.

Probably gonna change some of it though.
