I can understand Green Sun Zenith, but Dryad Arbor doesn't really do anything for my deck. I'd just as well add more land auras- as they combo. So without that, Zenith is still pretty good, but I usually try to get a draw mechanic early anyway.

Skinshifter is probably the eyebrow-raiser in the deck, and its definitely a personal thing- as he was my favorite, and starred in this deck's humble beginning. But I do believe he works. He's comes out easy, is an immediate threatening blocker, and can take advantage of Armor/Mask - even without Rancor via Flying/Trample.

I don't know what else I'd consider, so between Zenith letting me grab Argoth for 3, and Gnarlid for 4....and Skinshifter, I gotta keep my boy.

I have a deck similar to this (yours is better). I love the aura gnarlid. My biggest problem with my deck is when I run into decks that can eliminate my creatures before I put auras on them. I remedied this by playing creatures like Leatherback Baloth harder for red, or creatures with regenerate. Exile cards like Oblivion Ring are the most annoying. I have a Mask of Avacyn in my deck that helps a little. I would add another umbra mystic if you could. I strictly play casual and so does my partners, keep that in mind when viewing my suggestions.

As for why I suggested Leatherback Baloth its cheep for only 3G and it has nice offensive and defensive capabilities. Add one of your auras to it and it can get strong. Ah and I forgot to mention this before a Sigil of the Nayan Gods will work well with your sigil of the empty throne. I run 4 nayan sigils in my deck, but it I typically don't have enough creatures on board to justify the deck space. I will be getting rid of it soon unfortunately.

Great ideas. I'm trying out a 2nd Umbra Mystic (and Lightning Greaves) for protection, and it seems to help, while not taking too much out of offense. With that, I probably won't need Baloth (I used to run Living Terrain....maybe I should reconsider him), although he is pretty badass- just no room. Sigil is nice, Ancestral Mask will typically add more oomph I think. Hey I'm a noob..how do a blue text/image cards names?

you but two bracketts on either side of the card name. So for my baloth, its ((leatherback baloth)) except with two square brackets[ ]. You can do a suggestion with ((suggestion: cardname)) but with two square brackets. I'm going to post my aura deck at somepoint if you want to take a look at it. As I said, yours is better, but you might see one of my cards that is useful.

O-Ring isn't an aura, but Prison Term suffices. I don't really need much control, as thats more my opponent's concern.

ehh...they're good, but not worth it in this deck. I'm more about speed

I would consider putting in Oblivion Ring . They would help with some protection and enchantments on the field, and would also benefit other cards in the deck as well.

It not benefiting Aura Gnarlid, or offer draw from Kor Spirit Dancer is a problem. This deck doesn't really need control cards. Its quick growing onslaught. Every enchantment is an aura, minus Sigil but thats exceptionally worth it.

Enchanted Evening would be sick in this deck!

Like lil_cheez said, Enchanted Evening would work well here, especially with Ethereal Armor and Ancestral Mask . Adding card:Jace's Erasure would also keep pressure on an opponent through card draw, but that requires a blue splash. Mentioned this because I have a similar setup on my page, deck:enchants-and-auras-gwu, that adds blue into the mix for slightly interesting results, along with a different creature base. Considering adding land enchants to it now, after playtesting your deck a bit, they seem like a wise investment when used with Ethereal Armor and Ancestral Mask .

My deck swings with lethal damage in 4~6 turns, so I don't really need anymore attack power. That early, they'll just block it best case, or worst case I don't have Armor/Mask, and is useless 5 drop. I don't know why I would add Jace's Erasure...that does the opposite of what my deck is trying to do. If I'd splash blue I'd use Unstable Mutation

If you run Temple Garden instead of Brushland , add Dungrove Elder .

i would add better lands like Temple Garden or Sunpetal Grove , because their in standard they are relatively cheap too

Im always a fan of Aura decks...mostly because i never ever see them run. however easily one of the nst OP aura combos is Bruna, Light of Alabaster and Eldrazi Conscription and your not running. blue. . . which I think is odd for Aura decks. so...that makes me sad. I also think you should drop two creatures and take your land to 21 or even 20.

cyphus says... #20

nah, you forgot to count the 12 other lands: 4 Elves, and 8 Land auras. Both of those card suggestions are way too expensive. My deck can easily win long before 6 mana.

can it? it didnt for me Ill redo it. the thing is you never actually play eldrazi it gets pulled with Brunas ability. But yea my B about the lands

I love the deck bud. I've been wanting to make an enchantress deck for a long time, and this is what I would build.

Awesome deck, +1 from me.

Battle Mastery I'd use this over the Fencing Ace . It's better in my opinion on any of the other creautes, which you'd rather enchant anyways.

Armadillo Cloak /Unflinching Courage Just, yes. Debatably the best G/W enchantment of all time.

Sterling Grove Bit spendy, but definitely not a bad sideboard card and worth it if you're having trouble with enchantment destruction.

cyphus says... #25

Armadillo/Courage are both really great, but I don't really benefit from Life-gain. The point of the deck is to just kill them quickly - so I don't worry about much protection. They'll either not have ammo and lose, or have ammo- and I'll have drawn enough cards that same turn to create another juggernaut or 2 again. Those enchantments - being 3 drops, can really slow things down- and I have to reserve that slot of Ancestral Mask definitely, as it will usually more-than-double the attack.
