How fast can I get to 8 mana?
I might not need trample in order to win if I get enough Elves out and pump the right ones.
Real simple starter deck:
20 Lands
8 Land Enchantments [Fertile Ground][Overgrowth]
8 Big Card Draw Drops [Harmonize][Shamanic Revelation]
8 Ramping Elves [Llanowar Elves][Elvish Mystic]
4 Extra Synergy Ramp Elves [Arbor Elf]
4 Elf Drop Deck Slimmer [Elvish Visionary]
4 [Gigantomancer]
4 Removal or Win con in [Reclamation Sage] or [Chorus of Might]
All of these numbers need to be worked out and fine tuned. I might honestly have too much land as it is. I can really get by with 1 land in an opening hand.
If I want more potent land enchantment, I can opt for [Market Festival] but I really think I likely the cheaper option more.
[Dwynen] will probably be included as a one of, buffing elves through giganticism, providing a little protection from flying, and good potential for lifegain.
[Marwyn] Might end up being kind of slow. I could very likely play it on turn 2 and play 2 elves on turn 3 and tap it for 3. probably keep one of. The thing is, Something like Priest of Titania or Elvish Archdruid as they add mana based on all present elves.
[Garruk] can ramp me into a [Gigantomancer] and then sac-ult win con on the next turn.
[Greenweaver Druid] has the ability to quicken my ramp even a little more. 3cmc should never be hard to get.
Upgrades:
[Elvish Archdruid] Elf buff persisting through Giganticism, and a more powerful ramp.
[Imperious Perfect] Elf buff + a little creation without using cards from library.
[Fauna Shaman] If i get really crazy (like 50 dollars crazy) this can draw out Gigantomancer and even other stuff.
[Steel Leaf Champion] This guy is just bad early but honestly just doensn't fit the theme. He doesn't get buffed much by gigantomancer, so I just don't know.
[Immaculate Magistrate] A little higher cmc but can give a nice pump and can do it every turn if needed. kind of messes up combat tricks though.
[Elvish Promenade] Double my elves.
[Gilt-leaf Archdruid] Seems incredibly fun but is probably a wincon for a different deck. if only Shamans were druids :/
