Boros colors take delight in the art of refined battle. Unlike the vicious Mardu clan of Tarkir, the Boros are soldiers at heart, skilled in the art of tactics and military intelligence.

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight is the leader of Flight Goldnight, an army of soldier-angels, and was second only to Avacyn herself. After watching Griselbrand imprison Avacyn in the Helvault, Gisela felt hopeless. However, when Avacyn was Restored (get it?), Flight Goldnight stood by her side once more.

I started making this deck when I saw Gisela. I knew right away she would be an extremely powerful commander. Her seven mana cost is nothing with cards like Mana Flare, and once she's out, she's staying out. This deck plays around Boros' strong aggro flavor.

Mainly, I like to play around with dealing immense damage every turn.

Master Warcraft allows me to play around with all creatures on the battlefield.

Aurelia, the Warleader allows me to do crazy damage with Gisela's ability.

Imposing Sovereign controls the board blockers very early, allowing me to stall for time while quietly piling up mana.

Gisela, Blade of Goldnight + Silverblade Paladin . Enough said.
