Hey, nice budget version.

You forgot Sol Ring? Ruinous Ultimatum wrecks all your opponents; leaving you untouched to attack. It's the most powerful Mardu spell currently in Commander. Mask of Memory is another way to discard Knights for Haakon or it's another way to get Haakon into your graveyard. Murderous Rider's adventure is an upgrade for a instant removal spell and then it's a Knight.

Exotic Orchard, Caves of Koilos, Battlefield Forge are budget land upgrades. Savai Triome is a Tri land Plains that Knight of the White Orchid can search for. When playing Sunforger than Mistveil Plains is worth adding because it's a way to repeatedly cast the same instant with Sunforger and it's also a Plains that Orchid can search for.

Changes to consider:

Thank you multimedia and thanks for you suggestions. I had no idea that Mask of Memory was even a crad that works so perfectly with the deck. For Murderous Rider, Ruinous Ultimatum, Savai Triome, Mistveil Plains.

I agree almost completely. I do agree Rider is a straight upgrade to a Murder and so is Mistveil to a plains that I completely forgot about it. Basically the only thing I would say is I would replace a mountain with Savai do to the red weakness in the deck so it keeps the red mana there just adds to the white and black. Personally in my play group I find having the land search critical so I would prefer to keep them though Fabled Passage or Prismatic Vista would be good to have.

And for your suggestion on Sol Ring I don't know while the artifact ramp is nice I generally keep it out of most of my EDH decks just because I feel it takes a card slot that could be used for something better like Sword of the Animist

But thanks again for all of your suggestions and I am

Hey, you're welcome.

Sol Ring is the exception :) There's a reason it's played in all Commander decks because it's some of the most efficient ramp available. Sol is especially helpful when you're playing a high CMC Commander and Syr is 6 CMC. Sword of the Animist can be good repeatable ramp/color fixing, but it's slow ramp compared to Sol.

For less than Prismatic Vista you could get an actual Fetch land: Windswept Heath, Flooded Strand, Bloodstained Mire than can search for a Shock land, Savai or basic land. In fact for a few dollars more than one Vista you could get Windswept plus three Mardu Check lands: Isolated Chapel, Dragonskull Summit and Clifftop Retreat to better improve the manabase. Vista is a very overrated land for it's price.

multimedia always making it hard for me to give suggestions XD

But...I'm gunna try anyways.

So, this maybe a bit odd since your commander just does this but Magnetic Theft is pretty spicey against Godo players but can also allow you start hammering people for 10 as soon as turn 2.

Puresteel Paladin and Sram, Senior Edificer are mainstays in any equipment deck. Not sure what the budget it but the utility and card draw are unmatched :)

Good suggestion, Puresteel Paladin is now a budget card thanks to Double Masters and being a Knight is excellent for Knight tribal with equipment :)

RNR_Gaming thanks for the suggestions. I actually cracked open a box of Double and got Puresteel Paladin I was trying to figure where to slot him in. And thanks for Magnetic Theft it is a very spicy card Both for Godo(though I have yet to see one in the groups I play) it also helps with getting Sigiled Sword of Valeron on to one of my dragons to give them all the knight benefits.

Super neat deck, I love the flavor and the use of Haakon, Stromgald Scourge Also really think that the Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor + Blades of Velis Vel combo is cool! +1 from me boss :)

I like this, and this gives me some cool ideas for my own Gwyn + Haakon/Sunforger plans. You have thought of some tech that I hadn't previously thought of - such as Varchild + Blades combo, among others.

Also, how do you do that highlighting of the names with colors in your list?

Thanks astrophys and I am glad I can help you with some ideas. And for the colour it isn't my doing it is done by the coding of another user. I do forget who but I know I found it after looking around so it is out there still.

Thanks Lord_0f_chaos. I was trying to do something similar with a more combo-orientated Knight build, though I also wanted to try to work in Mana Echoes (I've had the card since Onslaught block when I started playing and figure out a deck it might work in) and maybe stuff that could also play along with it. Like Mirror Entity (also a Knight), as well as effects like Waylay (Sunforgerable) or Josu Vess who could combo off or from Mana Echoes to generate big amounts of mana.

That's some of the stuff I already had on my mind. Haakon and Sunforger were already planned to.

The hardest part is narrowing everything down, as in the end no deck can do everything and cuts must be made.

Oh, by the way, if you use Shields of Velis Vel you can take over their entire army at once for W instead of 2 creatures for 1R (well, plus sac'ing/losing/bouncing/flickering Varchild).
