Necropotence worth a shot? Helps you for a more combo route if you're into that. Or can just be stupid amounts of card advantage.

Necropotence + Venser's Journal is a ridiculous combo, and worth considering.

What do you want this Oloro build to do? There are lots of options. I'd be happy to help.

Take a look at my Oloro Stax/Prison build Two words... I'm Sorry... as one example of what can be done.

Also, Academy Rector seems mandatory if you're playing Test of Endurance

Could you let me know what the value is with Necrotic Sliver? I never really looked at it but I have to admit a creature that you can sac to destroy any permanent is very good. Do you have any tricks with it or is it just for the value? I'm temped to run one in my Oloro deck now.

Necrotic Sliver is just for the value. It works very well.

I'd replace Unexpectedly Absent since tucking is no longer a thing and there are better way's to remove non-commander creatures.

Slaughter? Not the most efficient removal but the buyback is great for Oloro.

@ DarthBrett - If you run into problems with decks running tokens + Dictate of Erebos or the version then Night of Souls' Betrayal is an excellent card to have in your collection.

I have to say I really really love how you've kept the amount of cards with double of the same mana symbol very low. This is always the hardest part for me when designing a deck and the main reason I still don't have one. I always end up with lots of , and in 3 drops and then have a non-functioning deck.

Why is Marsh flats in the maybe board instead of in the deck?

Blood clock/umbilicus are really bad, 2 life is basically nothing and it's extremely likely to actually benefit opponents who can return permanents with ETB triggers or other useful things.

Speaking of ETB triggers, you absolutely should run Torpor Orb.

If you want a way to bounce your own creatures, Crystal Shard is a billion times better. It can punish opponents for tapping out, too.

Love the name!! Seems like a solid deck- not that I would know, because I don't play EDH, but it looks good. #WelcomeToNightVale

You could think of the Land "tomb of yawgmoth". Also because you try to combo kill you could use the tutor "diabolic revelation" because you can search for many cards at once without any disadvantage. also i would maybe put out one spot removal and put in one more boardwipe like "decree of pain" wich is one of the really best mass removals in edh. but i think its probably a pretty good and fun deck ( at least for you :D ).

there's some antisynergy with snapcaster (like you actually need the creature part of it), but Heartless Summoning looks like it could do some work.

Ponder and Preordain : They don’t look like much, but they’re extraordinarily powerful cards. I recommend including them both.

I’m tempted to suggest Force of Will or Force of Negation , but as you’re a control deck the card disadvantage of these cards may well be too high a cost. Maybe experiment with one as a proxy for a bit and see if you like it in the deck?

Talisman of Dominance , Talisman of Progress and Talisman of Hierarchy are all good rocks...
