Sigarda, Heron's Grace
: Sigarda is the best Human tribal commander. She gives the team hexproof and exiles dead cards in the graveyard to make dudes. Rarely you will be using her 3rd ability, due to the non-bos of
Angel of Glory's Rise,
Faith's Reward and
Bruna, the Fading Light.
Angel of Glory's Rise: An absolute terror later game, with a yard full of dudes, you can easily win the game from there. Espically against Grimgrin, Corpse-Born commanders.
Angel of Jubilation: There aren't very many Human lords, but this gal is the psuedo kind. She also shuts down a ton of commander stratagies and even Force of Will. What's not to like?
Angelic Overseer
: She is the only pure beatstick Angel I run, but she's good at what she does, providing an evasive attacker and a crafty blocker.
Avacyn's Pilgrim: He's a mana dork for and a Human, he fits the criteria.
Saffi Eriksdotter: Sac to save a dude/dudette, good support card for our main pieces.
Karmic Guide: Reanimating a dude/dudette is a strong effect, we don't mind her dying due to the Saffi Eriksdotter dream. Good Angel.
Avacyn, Angel of Hope: When Avacyn hits the table, it's pretty much game over for your removal-less opposition. She gets exiled or tucked pretty quickly, so playing her at the right moment is key. Hence why some support is needed.
Bastion Protector: Giving our commander a small +2/+2 buff and indestructible is good, and prolongs the hexproof effect on Humans. Has synergy with George Clooney.
Bruna, the Fading Light : Bruna reanimates almost any creature in our deck, not mentioning the dream scenario with Gisela, the Broken Blade. Overall, a strong include but certainly makes you a target with the potential of a hentai monster around the corner.
Champion of Lambholt: A very strong Human, giving evasion to our creatures and making itself huge at the same time is impeccable. Has good synergy with Mikaeus, the Lunarch, any lord effect and
Thalia's Lieutenant
Champion of the Parish: Ah, the vinalla 1/1 that LOVES Humans. Not much to say, just a good card.
Devout Chaplain
: Enchantments and Artifacts are big problems. Nobody like to play against a turn 5 Blightsteel Colossus. This gal answers that question, causing cheeky end of turn exiles to your table's Sen Triplets and Eldrazi Conscriptions.
Duskwatch Recruiter
: This guy is so good, even Sigarda is making exceptions to her fan club. He does it all, filters your topdeck and finds a creature, when he flips he decreases the cost of creatures. A great addition, if not a bit off-flavor.
Eternal Witness: Eternal Witness
Ok for real, this card is fantastic in every deck she's in. Gets back fallen comrades, used spells, fetchlands, and even dispeled artifacts and enchantments. Solid A+.
Geist-Honored Monk: A giant monk lady who makes 1/1's and has vigilance is good, but make her P/T equal to your dude/dudette count is stellar. Solid include, solid Human.
Gisela, the Broken Blade: She's in here for aforementioned hentai monster , but not much else. She's a solid body on the board, but very cuttable.
Grand Abolisher: Ok, screw blue countermagic and screw the word, "In response". This dude gets it, making opps wait until their turn to mess with you. Protects your creatures and helps you win, solid card.
Hamlet Captain
: Weird Human lord-ish dude. Buffs the team when he attacks and buffs the team when he blocks, great card, great include.
Hanweir Militia Captain
: Same strengths as the monk, but she buffs herself when she flips, the one problem is that she HAS to flip to be truely powerful.
Herald of War: Another support Angel that slowly wins you the game. There aren't many ways to cheat counters onto her, but Mikaeus, the Lunarch and Dromoka's Command are good ways.
Heron's Grace Champion
: Another champ in the deck, however, this one buffs the team and gives them lifelink. A great combat trick and is always fun to comeback with.
Karametra, God of Harvests: Playing a creature into a land every time, is very strong. The ramp adds up fairly quick and a 6/7 body for 5 is strong as well. One of the only inherit non-Humans/Angels in the deck, so Bruna, the Fading Light and Angel of Glory's Rise can get it back.
Mayor of Avabruck
: A human lord with a downside: its flipside. The goal is the keep him on his good side to pump the team.
Mentor of the Meek: A card draw machine, it triggers off of new 1/1 dudes coming in, allowing you to draw cards. Be mindful of the lord effects getting out of control, you might not be able to draw cards of off 1/1's if you have 2 or more.
Mikaeus, the Lunarch: Before becoming the combo-king, this dude was a lord-ish effect. Allowing you to Gavony Township at will is a strong effect, but you need to keep counters on him, lord effects don't work that way.
Mother of Runes: Protection for anyone on your team is good. It might require scraficing the Mother, but keeping your best dude/dudette alive is the key to this card.
Odric, Lunarch Marshal: And they say they don't make invitational cards anymore... Jokes aside, George Clooney is great. When one of your mates have a keyword ability, thay all do EACH COMBAT. Love this guy, love his ability.
Riders of Gavony: Against other tribal decks, these dudes shine. Giving all humans pro-tribal deck is insanity. Ultimate flavor win if used against a vampire or zombie deck.
Sigarda, Host of Herons: OG Sidarda, and her ability is great against so many cards. Rendering countless cards useless, she's a great include.
Silverblade Paladin: I'm going to mention George Clooney again, because this is funny. Giving a creature Double Strike is good, giving your team Double Strike is better. Good car, Strong effect, cool janky combo.
Thalia, Guardian of Thraben: Thalia throws off your opponents, no matter what deck they're playing. She disrupts all purely non-creature stratagies and kinda prevents cheating in big spells and creatures.
Thalia, Heretic Cathar: This Thalia is better in EDH, rendering fetchs useless for a turn and a number of <2 color decks useless.
Thalia's Lancers: Tutoring for a legendary is a nice effect, there are a number of legendary cards that swing games, so this card is a good include.
Thalia's Lieutenant
: A bigger and better Champion of the Parish.
Thraben Doomsayer: Makes dudes, and puts stress on your opps when you hit 5 life. The lord effect is sizable, and the tokens are useful.
Tireless Tracker: This is a good card. Utilizing fetchs is key to drawing cards, plus the clues can be used with
Tamiyo's Journal
to tutor for something you really want.
