This came from the standard deck that used Battlewise Hoplite to great effect at the end of Theros' lifespan in standard. Essentially, use the Hoplite for early game draw control, then shift into a spirit focus with Drogskol and Xenograft. Reflector Mage's for tempo control as you move into the mid/late game.
