This deck has been my pet project for quite some time. My first deck was the Green/White Angelic Might deck from Avacyn Restored. Over time, that deck has evolved into this. I made top four at my local Friday Night Magic with it on June 14, 2013 with it, so I like to think it's going in the right direction.
The concept of the deck is an aggressive army of synergistic humans led into battle by Sigarda, Host of Herons. I will detail the general strategy of the deck below in the main combos.
Champion of Lambholt + Attended Knight (In that order)Result: Champion of Lambholt now is a 3/3 that cannot be blocked by anything weaker than her.
Champion of Lambholt + Attended Knight + Restoration Angel (In that order)Result. An excellent follow-up to the previous combo. Champion gets three +1/+1 counters, making her 4/4 that can't be blocked by anything weaker than her, and you have an addition solider token. If the previous combo was executed, then she is instead a 6/6.
Champion of Lambholt + Geist-Honored Monk (in that order)Result: Champion now has three +1/+1 counters. Same as above.
Champion of Lambholt + Geist-Honored Monk + Restoration Angel (in that order)Result: Champion gets SEVEN +1/+1 counters. You now have four spirit tokens. Monk is quite powerful, at least a 7/7 herself. In all likelihood you are about to swing for game either this turn or the next.
Soulbonding Silverblade Paladin to either Champion of Lambholt or Sigarda is always a good decision.
I have included Bonds of Faith, Fog, and Selesnya Charm to deal with various threats. Also, the Charm, Bonds, Common Bond, and Blessings of Nature, are excellent stat boosts for those times the creature combos aren't feasible.
While it does work well, I'm sure that there is room for improvement. I appreciate any and all feedback on this deck. Sideboard ideas are also welcome.
