Why not Arbor Elf instead of Greenside Watcher ? You could then run Stomping Ground or Temple Garden instead of Boros Guildgate . Would make your curve smoother.

just add Tamiyo, the Moon Sage and Omniscience . Add something like Thought Scour for a mil win or Searing Spear for a damage win, or get really funky with Thragtusk and Cloudshift for beasts + life. haha

You seem to be neglecting that Axebane guardian>Greenside Watcher

Sorry to burst your bubble. But Slaughter Games is kinda big right now. So with that being said by turn 4 your game could be over. No more combos. Any suggestions on how to beat this? I mean you don't NEED the combos to win but since the deck is based around it might add in some counters.

well Thragtusk + Deadeye Navigator is OP, Also, You should add Kessig Malcontents for an instant win. I suppose you'd still win instantly by stealing all their stuff and swinging with eight power, then whatever they have.

If your running 4 Chromatic Lantern why not use basic lands and Arbor Elf instead and save like 3-4 hundred dollars?

The shocks ensure that I will never have mana issues. I'm not always going to draw a chromatic :).

Tried playing this deck 10x , just takes far too long to get it going. If you can last till combo is set up its pretty much a win.

I still really don't understand the Greenside Watcher . This deck already has problems with speed, why would you ever run the incredibly slow Greenside Watcher and Boros Guildgate when you have access to Arbor Elf ?

I swear this deck is still legal in standard. Either way, still insanely impressive.

The infinite combat phases and infinite damage doesn't work.

Aurelia, the Warleader says that "Whenever Aurelia, the Warleader attacks for the first time each turn, untap all creatures you control. After this phase, there is an additional combat phase."

Emphasis on the "for the first time each turn". Your never actually ending your turn, so you can't repeat the process, otherwise this card would be soooooo broken.

Wabbbit says... #25

It does work, actually.

  • Step 1: Navigator + Conscripts + Lotus is infinite mana.
  • Step 2: Attack with Aurelia, generating another combat phase.
  • Step 3: Before the additional phase, flicker Aurelia.
  • Step 4: Since she is a new permanent with no memory of the previous attack when she gets flickered, you can then attack on the additional combat phase you generated.
  • Step 5: Rinse and repeat.
