Complete overhaul of a STD r/u/w deck. Moving it into Modern territory.

Goal here is to burn and stall the opponents while generating tokens using Monastery Mentor. Leading up to my tokens achieving final form with Descent of the Dragons.

Deck plays through use of instant and sorcery cards that allow for token generation and prowess triggers, as well as providing opportunities to draw. Draws are provided through use of spells, Mentor of the Meek and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, which also triggers burns. Battlefield Thaumaturge combos with Descent of the Dragons which not only provides flying fatties, but also triggers the Dragons side of Outpost Siege. Using Aurelia's Fury in combo with Battlefield Thaumaturge can provide the chances to tap all of my opponents creatures which can be useful with Tamiyo, the Moon Sage's -2 ability for massive draws, which can result in burns as well.

Areas of Focus:

Speed: It takes longer than I would like to get useful cards on to the board. Even with cheap spells like Serum Visions and Young Pyromancer.

Avg CMC: 2.85 average seems a bit high for what I am trying to accomplish.
