I will say, title is ultra important. And not just the budget line. Win Hard: Or Die Trying (Akroan Style), Touched by a Lich Lord: 1 Shot Kill Combo, and 20/20 Trampling Satyrs Croc-Punching to Victory! all took the number 1 slot and none of them mentioned budget. You might note that I changed the title of each of them several times until I got one that got people's attention.

A title with a hook, a cool picture or gif, a button that outright asks for upvotes, and a charismatic/funny description all help too. Essentially they get people to upvote just for the entertainment value. Then if the deck is good, bonus points.

Fun fact, 4 scourge, and one of each Kolaghan is enough to get there, for slightly cheaper than karthus.

I personally like 3 scourge, 1 bogarden, then one of each kolaghan.

The problem is that I might be disturbed by removals: that's why I'm using 6 dragons here, and that the celerity ones are redundant. :)

Great deck, I think linking your other decks is very weird, or perhaps it's just too many that were linked. +1 from me though.

You understand that this is just a worse storm deck...

kameenook says... #12

Scorprix not exactly, this deck doesn't require as much "storm" to go off, Dragonstorm with 2 storm counts is enough to do significant damage. The only problem is the massive amounts of mana necessary for Dragonstorm, but they're different decks, it's not fair to pit them against each other.

Maybe Geosurge or that one that gives you additional mana for each creature on the board - pair that one with some cheap token spitters to get to the storm more consistenly.

Sagarys I believe you want Battle Hymn, and it doesn't look like theirs enough room for that in this deck, perhaps you could make a list of your own and bring it here?

Sagarys says... #15

I was just spitballin' ideas to boost consistency.

elpokitolama, can you please remove all coding from this page? Deck pages should be limited to the deck description coding only. Any fancy css coding should only be used on your profile as deck pages take longer to load than your average profile due to numerous reasons. You can use google's site optimization for comparison details.

Grumpfh, I'll do it, but even with my phone it's easier to load than T/O main page. x')

Sagarys: Geosurge is a funny idea, but the "only creature or artifact" thing makes it kinda hard to play here. :<

What kind of phone are you using?

And yes, the front page is on average, slower to load than your average deck page.

May 8, 2015 2:18 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #20

It is actually about 5-10% slower on average.

Paradise Mantle + Blistercoil Weird = Profit. But seriously consider adding these two to your deck. I just spend the last hour play testing your deck and the fastest it was able to land your combo was by turn 6 along with 2 of the play tests losing from game start do to having to mulligan for land down to a gg maybe it was just bad luck but I would consider the above mentioned combo

May 10, 2015 12:32 a.m.

elpokitolama says... #23

It is possible to win by the second turn with a godhand, by the third with some luck, and usually by the 4th the game is settled. So yeah, you really had bad luck. Blistercoil + mantle is fun, but this is a complete different kind of storm deck: this combo needs a deck fully composed of cantrip, because it is hard to get more than 3 mana avaible with it. Thanks for the suggestion! :)
