The original deck ( Tap Dance ) played creatures for mana to abuse Throne of the God-Pharaoh if it's out, dealing some decent direct damage. It also was trying to exert Champion of Rhonas to drop an Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger or Decimator of the Provinces. Great concept, but didn't have card draw or any way to tutor out that decimator or ulamog.

I've wanted to run the Tamiyo's Journal/ Briarbridge Patrol/ Tireless Tracker combo for a long time and this deck seems well equip for it. So we now have Tireless Tracker pumping clues with lands and dumping massive clues when we play Harvest Season. Clues give us some base card draw which we almost always have mana for, and we have Tamiyo's Journal ready to eat them up for whatever bomb we need. And of course between Briarbridge Patrol and Champion of Rhonas, and all our random mana ramp, we have ways to put our baddies on the battlefield, typically by turn 6 or 7.

Currently taking advice:

-how can I get some instant speed removal? My concern is this isn't fast enough for current standard aggro and may not be defensive enough to survive it. My current solution is 4 Heroic Interventions in the side board... But that requires me to keep blockers up, which cuts my mana ramp.

-any advice on how it'll fair against control?

So far, its for fun, but it seems decent...
