My first attempt to create a Sliver EDH/Commander Deck. This is a living format and will be changed upon taking reviewers considerations.

That deck has multiple win conditions and works really well around turn 7-8. You can infinite sliver combo multiple ways and offers you to have pretty good mana fixers to play the various types of slivers.

Strategies to Consider:

Infinite Slivers-

1) Sliver Queen + Basal Sliver/(Gemhide + Haste Sliver) + Heartsone/Training Grounds = Infinite Sliver

2) Sliver Queen + Gemhide + Haste Sliver + Doubling Season = Infinite Sliver Combo = Infinite Sliver

Tutors-

1) Scroll Rack + Descendants' Path = Tutor a Sliver and Instant Play

2) Sliver Overlord + Heartstone = Cheap Tutor

3) Homing Sliver = All Slivers can Turtor other Slivers

Return from the Living:

1) Volrath's Stronghold + Pulmonic Sliver = Play from Library Return

2) Volrath's Stronghold + Descendants' Path = Play from Library Return

3) Vessel of Endless Rest + Sliver Overlord = Play from Hand Return

Destruction-

Hibernation Sliver + Harmonic Sliver = Enchantment DestructionPulmonic Sliver + Necrotic Sliver + Harmonic Sliver + Descendants' Path = Enchantment and Permanent Destruction for 2 Mana

That's Mean-

1) Sliver Overlord + Amoeboid Changeling = Creature Thief

2) Infinite Sliver Combo + Dark Heart Sliver = Infinite Life

3) Infinite Sliver Combo + Screeching Sliver + Faces of the Past = Infinite Mill

Sliver Syngery-

Beatdowns: Using cards such as Sliver Legion, Coat of Arms, Muscle Sliver, Sinew Sliver, and Automaton allows your slivers to grow exponentially and allow you to Beatdown an opponent. You can use Fury Sliver and M14's new Bonescythe Sliver to assist with this beatdown.

Swarming: Slivers with Flying and unblockable Slivers paired with Brood Sliver provide a Synergy for Swarming your enemy. You can even use Primal Surge to give a grand beatdown during a multilayer match, just watch out for counterspells. AEther Vial, Descendants' Path, Wild Pair, Cryptic Gateway, and not to mention Sliver Overlord assist you placing more slivers out on the battlefield.

Mana Fixers: Known mana Fixers in this deck are obviously the Gemhide Sliver and the Nonbasic Lands, but Prismatic Omen, Chromatic Lantern, and Vessel of Endless Rest provide the needed Mana Fix.

Protection: There are alot of utility cards presented in this deck such as Root Sliver and Cavern of Souls to prevent Counter spells from occurring. Crystalline Sliver, Steely Resolve, and Sterling Grove protect some of your permanents.

Sideboard:

All the cards are there to support against decks that are troublesome with his deck such as card destruction.

Overall:

Simply places the Primary Strategies stated above aren't the only ways to win the game. Playing with this deck takes finesse and a lot of patience. I recommend having thick skin upon playing with this deck as well as the forefront of your mind know that you will loose, but take as many people/things down with you in a Fiery Sliver Roller coaster of Sliver Casual play. On a side note, Wild Pair will only work if you do not have creatures that provide +1/+1 so timing is everything. I have not gotten the cards that are in the maybe stack and the Acquire to complete section, but

Known weakness are control and aggro decks. I am still trying to figure ways to speed the deck up. Creature Destruction hurts this deck especially effects that are similar to Wrath of God. Non Basic Land Destruction are also a thorn in this deck. I am open to suggestions, comments, and constructive criticism.

Last night I fought a mono white EDH deck at a nearest LFGS. It was brutal; so brutal in fact I had lost count of my life total that I did not realize how much finesse it takes to play this deck.

My starting hand began with Scroll Rack and Primal Surge. I started to build my strategy around these two cards from the get go. It was an interesting hand as I observed my opponent play his mono white deck efficiently and effectively. In fact I was distracted by his 1/1 Angel becoming a 6/6 Angel with lifelink in which it pounded me repeatedly, especially upon the Angel gaining double strike via a soulbound creature.

By turn 7 I was down to 18 life points vs his 40+ life points, I lost count and played a critical error. I knew I had one turn worth of survival and in my hand was a Darkheart Sliver and a Heart Sliver. I had Basal Sliver, Screeching Sliver, Chromatic Lantern, and three shocklands. I choose to gamble my next move and play Heart Sliver, in hopes I can survive the next turn to draw Gemhide Sliver after my scrying through Scroll Rack.

Turn 8 brought my inevitable loss as my opponent was able to deal exactly 17 points of damage in which in actuality was my life total. I explained to my opponent I had lost count and apologized for my rookie mistake. Shook his hand and applauded his deck. Thanked him for the game as my iPhone buzzed with a message from the wife saying, "are you on your way?"

In hindsight, I should have played slightly defensively and carefully, especially with the timing of which Sliver to play. Perhaps next time, seeing how this deck was able to meet my intended purposes and allowed enjoyable play with a minor margin of error by the randomization of shuffling a deck, I might be better prepared to play this deck without the added variable of human error. However it was my first game with this deck and experience through loss is a great teacher.
